The 4K cameras that come with this pack boast up to 180 days of battery life. You can charge the cameras with the included USB cable by plugging it into the back of the HomeBase 3 and into the USB C port on the camera. Alternatively, you can also use any 9V/2A, 5V/2A, or 5V/1A USB charger to charge the camera. Additionally, you can buy solar panels that plug into the cameras. There is a model of eufy camera [eufyCam 3 (S330)] that has a solar panel on the top of the camera, but I find it to be pretty useless unless you're going to have the camera(s) mounted in direct sunlight.

The HomeBase 3 needs to be connected to power and to a spare port on your router using the included Ethernet cable. The HomeBase 3 comes with 16 GB of internal storage, but you can also add a 2.5 inch SATA hard disk drive (HDD) or solid state drive (SSD) by lifting the lid off the top and plugging one in. For storage usage, I recommend using a hard disk drive over a solid state drive, but either one will work. I installed a 1 TB hard disk drive in mine. You can add up to 16 eufy cameras to the HomeBase 3. It doesn't have to be the same model camera. It just has to be compatible with the HomeBase 3.

There are various settings in the eufy Security app that you can change to suit your personal preference. You can have alarms on all the cameras and the HomeBase 3. You can also enable the spotlights on the cameras. The cameras also include microphones, audio and video recording and speakers. The cameras come equipped with 2 way audio communication, meaning that you will be able to speak through the app to your camera, and visitors can speak through the camera and be heard from the mobile app.

The eufy security cameras and HomeBase 3 are very impressive indeed. If there is anything negative that I could find to say about eufy products in general is that the documentation is a bit thin. But I wouldn't let that sway you.
