Top notch steam cleaning – The M4S is easy and super effective to use. I like being able to sanitize the floor without using chemicals. One tank of water covers over 300 square feet. So far, I’ve been able to reuse the same pad twice weekly for 4 months. I really like the extension wand feature and additional cleaning options for hard to reach places. The cord is… Read more

sufficiently long, allowing ease of movement over the entire room. The control switch is simple to turn off and on as needed The vapor steam is extremely powerful. It penetrates the marble and wood flooring, leaving a very noticeable clean surface to the touch.

An inert lump of metal – Note that Euroflex ONLY provides a warranty if you purchase from one of its 'participating retailers' - otherwise you're on your own. And that stuff about Australian Consumer Law guarantees? My local consumer protection agency tells me it's voluntary. You might be the purchaser of a brand new $700 cleaner that doesn't turn on and they will give you the brushoff. Don't blow your money. Vax has an unconditional warranty. Show details

Do not purchase! – We have used a Euroflex Monster steam mop for the last 6 years on our tiles and it has been fantastic until the it stopped working. We purchased the M4S about 3 weeks ago for over $600 and unfortunately it is nothing compared to the previous model. It leaves the floors wet and streaky and you constantly have to hold the steam button down in order… Read more

for it to release any steam. Previous models released steam as soon as the lever was released into the mopping position and was far lighter and more convenient to use than the M4S. We’ve given it a few more attempts to redeem itself and unfortunately it hasn’t. Please don’t waste your money like we have. We’d love to replace it with another model but unfortunately that’s not an option.

No spare part!! – Used my steam mop this morning, and it tripped my safety switch, being an electrician I dismantled and found the tank pressure sensor to be shorted to earth , I rang euroflex and was told that the spare part required is not available, so my $700.00 floor mop is now useless . Buyer Beware don’t waste your time Show details

Do not waste your money – I purchased the top of the range expecting to get top of the range quality outcomes. The machine is heavy, steam volume is average at best, I have had to send it in for repair within warranty and the steam wand is so short you can't do anything with it. You are better off getting one of the lighter models as they actually clean better and easier than the heavy brick known as the M4S Show details

Buy a bucket, fill it up with water and then tip it over the surface and let dry. You will achieve better results then! – I guess my angry review is fuelled by the high price tag of this product. We often associate a higher price tag with better quality. We want to get more for our money and that's usually in terms of features AND quality. If I buy a piece of crap product from Kmart (and I buy plenty of stuff from there!), then I won't be too annoyed if and when it… Read more

dies on me, but when you spend nearly 600 on a friggin mop, then you kinda hope it does your cooking, washing and school drop off for that price SPECIALLY when it does not perform its core function properly!

I actually watched as many video reviews as I could, read reviews on the good guys and read up on the product. They were mainly about the basic product that releases steam continuously and automatically. I wanted to have the extra attachments so I figured I would pay the higher price for it. The consensus was that the mopping experience would be the same. The MAIN reason I wanted this mop , was its promised quick-dry and streak-free cleaning. The hybrid model that I have does NOT release steam continuously (unlike it's cheaper counterpart), you will need to constantly hold a button for steam release from the bottom. There is also another button if you want steam released from the four jets at the front. I understand this second requirement but not so much the first. I would be ok with the constant button pressing IF ONLY it, at least, did the other part right. I am particularly annoyed about this since in the misleading YouTube reviews made by the brand, they do this "tissue test" whereby they take a ply of tissue and drop it on the floor RIGHT after having mopped the area with the basic unit. And then blow it right off. Because the floor is supposed to dry quickly, once the tissue is dropped, it can be quite literally blown off of the surface. Or at least that was the promise. The floor was SO WET that I would have felt even more stupid doing the tissue test... well more stupid than I did paying for this garbage in the first place.

Needless to say, the fact that the floor is left sooooo wet, also means that there are PLENTY of streaks on it.

Another issue is that the unit does NOT glide over the surface. You have to spray sooooooo much steam from the bottom pad which eventually makes it possible to move the unit BUTTTTTTT it comes at the cost of having wet the floor so much that it leads to the wet floor and plenty streaks.

Does everything we want it to do – We have been using the M4S steamer now for about 18 months. So far it has done everything we wanted it to do. It cleans the kitchen floors perfectly clean and streak free, so that they look like new. I would certainly recommend it. We use 3 microfibre pads, changing them often. We are very happy with the results. We had the large unit previously… Read more

because we had a much larger area to cover however the M4S is perfect for the smaller area and it is lightweight and easy to use.

Model before was far superior – The only reason this product got the stars it did was because their customer service is exceptional! This model is hard work to get going, maybe it's a safety thing holding the button down but after a minute my thumb is sore. I have a massive tiled area which was why we loved the monster and when we lost it I almost cried and rushed out to get the… Read more

exact thing to replace it, only to find this was the replacement. It does more, don't get me wrong, but in doing so I feel it compromised its basic ease of use. Even insulating the cords they still get hot to use extra accessories, and I barely use them as the water needs filling so much. Will look to other brands next time but being so expensive can't justify going and buying a whole new one. Pluses - cord length is better Floor still looks good once done but takes longer and is harder work than older model.

$20 mope products are far better than this one – Was influenced by Harvey Norman salesperson, my bad I bought this product. It literally doesn't clean, imagine you rubbing same pad around dirty floor. Do you think it will take away dirt? $20 mope bucket and scrubbing mope bucket will take out more dirt than this one. Don't be fooled by this product. If manufacturer is reading this review, I can… Read more

Update: As of 11/04/2024 After keeping this machine in garage, I cleared it yesterday with my hard waste collection. What a waste of money.

It works Great – I just Bought it today , used it on tile floor, reasonably large area, Didnt find any Problems , it glides well enough on Hard surface. Floors dried up quickly and the surface doesnt attract as much dust or shoe prints after drying. I bought it for the multipupose functions as well and The attachments are great . Unit is light enough to carry around when doing windows . I think it does the jobs that i bought it for . Show details ·  1

Does not live up to the marketing hype – The Vapour M4S steam mop is a big disappointment! It is difficult to push and certainly doesn't glide over the floor tiles as touted and if you don't bend your back to push then it goes nowhere! Heavy, useless and not recommended for purchase. Show details

Be wary when purchasing this appliance – This steamer does not glide over the floors, and is very heavy to push and pull on my porcelain tiles. I have to use 2 hands to push and pull the steamer over the floors. You have to hold the steam button all the time, which can prove difficult for some people. They state that the floors are dry but I am getting streaks on my floor. I have to change to microfiber pad during the 20-25 mins of use.  Show details

Can do mop – I've used 5 different steam mops in my life. The Bissell was very clean but left massive water steaks. Next, my Phillips was very similar to the Euroflex but that burnt out in a puff of smoke. Then I had the Haan multicleaner and by far, that's still the best. On average, based on fortnightly usage, each steam mop lasted about 3 (Phillips) to 6… Read more

(Haan) years. Sure, bits of the plastic broke off the Haan in the last 2 years until it stopped producing steam altogether but it was a joy to use compared to the Euroflex.

What I dislike: - Like the Phillips, the water tank is located in the steam mop head but the Euroflex is considerably heavier for me (45kg) to lug around! - Unlike the Haan with its 270 degree articulated head, the steam head can only move up and down. It can't move sideways i.e., left/right (because of the water tank) which means it can't go under furniture or into corners. Videos on using the mop suggest that you're supposed to use one of the accessories to get into tight corners or under furniture. But honestly, who has the time to disassemble the head, click on the accessory and do that again and again in each room? My motto is I love cleanliness, not cleaning; I'm not Marie Kondo! I want to clean and move on! - Having to hold on to the steam jet button to clean. The manual says you don't have to do it all the time but without doing so, it's not very clean. - The mop handle is made of seemingly flimsy plastic bits that click together. Only time will tell how long it'll last. - The floor pad is considerably thinner compared to the Haan. - No indicator light to tell you that the tank needs refilling.

What I like: - Relatively affordable compared to Bissell but double the price of the Haan. The accessories however seem cheaper if you buy them individually or as replacements. - Unlike the Haan where there's a real danger of scalding yourself when fitting accessories onto the steam nozzle while it's still hot, the Euroflex avoids that problem because you're not fitting the accessory directly onto the steam nozzle. Rather, you're attaching the steam nozzle to the mop handle. However, it's still best to let the unit cool down if you can afford the time. - 1 tank can go for up to 25 minutes if your finger isn't continually on the steam jet. That's enough for my house if I judiciously spray the steam. - They provide 3 mop pads which can be machine washed in cold water. I had to handwash my Haan mop pads! - Love the accessory bag comes with the mop to store the accessories. I haven't extensively tried the accessories so I can't comment on how well (or not) they work. (However I didn't extensively use the Haan accessories either, it's just not my usage pattern. As I said, I don't enjoy cleaning!) - It is clean and doesn't leave excessive water trails as advertised. For extra steam power, fire up the steam jets in front or behind. But then again, my bare basic Phillips was just as clean. In contrast, my Haan was less clean even when new and just got worse over time. - Not needing to descale if you use demineralised water. Descaling the Haan was a pain!

In a nutshell, if the Haan customer service wasn't so flakey and the mop technology wasn't so old (hasn't been updated in 7 years), I'd buy another Haan.

Effective hard floor cleaning – I have previously owned a Monster M1 steam mop, which had very good cleaning performance, but a very weak handle design. This resulted in the plastic handle splitting, where it joined the metal extension tube. I used gaffer tape to hold it together & pushed the mop using the metal extension tube, rather than the plastic handle. I used it this way… Read more

for a few years, but finally couldn't take it any more & decided to get the latest Euroflex Vapour M4S. With this model, the metal extension tube has been replaced with a thick plastic tube, which seems to be more durable than the old design. Though it flexes a lot, it shows no sign of breaking. I have been using the new mop for about 3 months, mopping a 3 bedroom unit's tiled floors once a week. The performance is very good, due to the large amounts of high temperature steam, which has the benefit of much quicker drying than other low pressure steam mops. I top up the water tank each time I use the mop & this is enough to clean all tiled areas in a 3 bedroom apartment (Kitchen, Lounge/Dining, Hall, Laundry, Main Bathroom & Ensuite).

The new model can be used for general steam cleaning, by removing the extension handle, & attaching the supplied accessories to the steam handle. Accessories supplied are, brushes, scraper, grout cleaner, window cleaner & steam nozzle. A nice accessory bag/case is supplied to store the accessories. As when cleaning floors, the high pressure steam makes these accessory tools very effective, especially for cleaning bathrooms & kitchens.

The cleaning performance of this steam mop/pressure cleaner is excellent.

I would recommend this cleaner, as it cuts the need for a lot of household cleaning sprays etc.

Not designed with women in mind ( small hands ) – I have 2 major dislikes, I HATE that I have to hold the steam button down to activate the steam, with my Euroflex monster you just had to pull the handle back. The handle is WAY too thick and chunky to comfortablely hold and press the steam button and push the unit at the same time. I used the grout brush for 5 mins and the bristles starting falling out. I thought I was upgrading from my monster, feeling like I've taken 3 steps backward  Show details

Disappointed – I found it was very difficult to push the cleaner over the tiles. It requires a lot of strength to do this and the process is exhausting. Also the handle is too short for me. It needs a longer power cord as you need to keep it hooked to the arm of machine to keep it away from steamer when in use. This restricts a meter of the cord. The accessory… Read more

for cleaning windows needs to have a rotating head and it is difficult to move over window surface because it constantly sticks. You can clean in one direction only with the fixed angle accessory head. It does a poor job on windows leaving dirty streaks. I have not used other accessories due to the restriction of the fixed angle of the head. I am however happy with the job the machine did on the tiles. They are squeaky clean. I’m sorry was swayed into buying this product due to the favourable Choice review. It’s not worth the money.

I never expected to like it so much – I ended up paying much more than I had planned for a steam mop but I am very happy with this model. I have white tiles throughout with light grout and an active household. I have been impressed with how easy and smooth the mop is. a few attachments and a neat soft case to hold them all. My favourite attachment so far is the grout cleaner that cleans grout quickly and easily with no bending. I had a quick try with cleaning windows but wasn't overly impressed. A tank of water would probably be sufficient to mop all my floors but it needs more if cleaning the grout at the same time. The one improvement I would like to see is a water level indicator. When using the machine you have no idea how much water has been left in the tank so I don't add the recommended 600ml if I I haven't emptied at the end of the last use.
