Bad investment – Even though I have owned this oven for 5 years it has only been installed for 3. The bottom element went first and had to send to the Eastern states for a new one at the cost of $99 and then more money for an electrician to install. Now the oven has crapped itself half way through cooking a roast and blew all the power on that side of the house. Thank goodness for trip switches. This oven has not been used very much at all and I am disappointed considering the cost and the parts are so expensive to fix it, so I will not bother fixing it and just replace with a better brand Looks pretty in the kitchen Expensive. hard to find parts and they have to come from over East
Why would I want to ring the Eastern states at my expense to speak to you Cheryle. The electrician who came to fix the oven rang Microtemp and this oven had been upgraded with different parts (better) after I bought it and the cooling fan was unservicable and the thermostat had gone as well. Replaced thermostat and cooling fan, checked over and tested ok. Total cost $275.50 and took from the 17.9.12 until 7.11.12 to finally have an oven that works. So far no problems and the oven actually works better than it ever has. The reasons in deciding to fix rather than replace the oven was based on replacement cost and an assurance by electrician that the problem was fixed.

Love cooking - perfect compliment – This oven bakes a light fluffy sponge using two tins over two levels, both come out perfectly at the same time totaling 10cm in height. Meat and or vege dishes cook perfectly. Great for heating quick snacks as well. Everything comes out perfectly, the controls are accurate and easy to use. Reliable and energy efficient
