sink has been used for is handwash and laundry detergent. My wife contacted Everhard and they immediately told her that she must have used unsuitable chemicals because (they claimed) rust was on the plug and waste component which are not stainless steel. Everhard completely ignored the fact that this part itself is not rusting, the rust stain is being generated from the small worn areas (circled in red in the photos) and running with water down to the waste (red arrow, noting that this was after we cleaned as much of the rust stain off as I could using the recommended method.). We explained this several days ago but they have not responded. So - my advice - if you want to use your sink for handwash and/or detergent - don't get an Everhard sink.
