Really good - low price does not mean low quality – We purchased an Avoca package as soon as we arrived in Australia. Initially we thought it would be only a temporary solution for a couple of years - due to the price we thought it would be of low quality, but it's been now 8 years and our furniture is still looking good, with very little damage despite the fact that we moved three times. The only… Read more ·  1

maintenance has been replacing the screw of one drawer handle. The most noticeable sign of age is that the colour of the items that were more exposed to the sun changed slightly. Our Avoca furniture have also survived a water leakage in our building that flooded our carpet and badly damaged our IKEA bookshelf and wall skirting.

OK – I bought this package to fill up a new apartment recently. This package cost $1999 plus $80 delivery and was the most attractive of the two in this price range from Fantastic furniture. Made in China the furniture is extremely heavy with parts that are hollow wood. Unless you are careful would be easily dented. I left a slightly damp towel on… Read more

the coffee table over summer and the finish began to bubble slightly on the edge. Table and chairs are easily scratched or stained. Be sure to get covers for inner shelves, chairs and table. Bed is very squeeky.

Requires exceptional care, not suited to children. Fantastic Furniture pine package at $2000 may be a better, more durable option with children or if you entertain regularly. At this price though it is a great option for someone on a low budget. Free extras available make the package an excellent deal.

Lounge is really comfortable. Coffee table, entertainment unit, buffet and bedroom draws are really large and provide plenty of extra storage space. Take extra care of it and it's an attractive, inexpensive and worthwhile package. Inexpensive. Clean design. Complete home package. Not very durable. Tiresome and complicated to assemble.

Terrible – While this product is easy on the wallet, is isn't worth the heartache that came along with it. Issues starting with a tear in the couch, couch was taken for repairs (6 weeks without a couch to sit on!!), came back and hadn't been repaired properly. Excellent customer service from the salesman (Dandenong store), but the supervisor was… Read more

belligerent and unwilling to help, preferring instead to talk over the top of me. Found myself so incredibly frustrated and angry after 4 months of battling over this product!! WILL NEVER SHOP AT FANTASTIC FURNITURE AGAIN!! Inexpensive multiple issue (seam tearing, brackets loose)

Good – Excellent option for those people who are in the early stages of their lives and need some initial furniture which is basic, not very expensive and easy to choose from ( as the package comes as pre-bundled). However, the quality of the product isnt that good and one should not expect that this furniture would last you long number of years. But… Read more

this is still an excellent choice for the price an individual pays. Excellent package for those who wish to start off a house in early stages of their lives, price is excellent Quality of the furniture is not that good.

OK – the pieces i bought from the package were a quick fix and i didnt have the money and i was just moving out of home. Lasts a while if you look after them. The coffee table glass keeps moving. The lowline unit is good great pieces that are of great prices. suits low budget people who need to fill extra space in their houses. great for people just… Read more

moving out of home. the colours match every colour scheme. easy to put together quality is not that high, the lowline unit is good quality however the laminate is just a sticker over pre finished board.

OK – Some pieces in this package are much better quality than others. The bottoms of the drawers are quite flimsy and the chairs to the table are not very strong. Everything comes flat packed and has to be put together which can be a bit of a challenge. Good for starting out, it is nice to move into a place and be able to have it fully furnished and… Read more

looking good. Putting it all together! A bit of false advertising as in all the pictures I have seen in the catalogues the lounges are nice colours, but it actually costs extra to get anything other than neutral.

Bad – this is agreat starter package, i wish this was around when i moved out of home for the price it is good value. but as i said a great starter package, you dont want kids jumping all over it , it just does not have the strength. it is no good for a family situation. good for single working people who arent home much so wont use it much. the staff… Read more

at fantastic furniture have a lot to learn too. no custormer service. furniture is very cheaply made. if you want something to last you for years do not shop at fantastic furniture. good value starter pack very shoddy, wont last long

Bad – It is great if you are just starting out, sharing a home or you live by yourself. But having tried out the furniture in the display I wouldnt recommend it for familys with small children as the furniture would be trashed quite quickly. But for students it would be a great idea as it is more of a disposable type product. Great price if you are… Read more

starting out in a new home. The furniture is very flimsy. It looks like you would only get six months out of the chairs in the kitchen set, and thequality in all the other furniture looks just as bad.

Good – Fantastic Furniture's Homestarter Package is a great way for new home owners to buy all the necessary pieces of furniture to fill their place. The package deal provides a wide range of furniture pieces for the living room, dining room and bedroom along with some freebies thrown in as well. However, the quality of the furniture is relatively poor… Read more

and won't last very long. I have already had a couple of damaged end tables. They serve the purpose though and for people starting out, it is a great value option. Economical way to furnish a new home. Do not expect the furniture to last very long

Excellent – overall I thought is was great value for money! The lounge is aussie made and we have had our package in an investment unit with no problems. I will be buying a second package for unit 2!! affordable, modern easy to assemble (hardest item was the buffet) the wait time to get it

Terrible – Due to selling up everything and moving interstate, we thought it was fantastic when we came across this package for such little cost, however the staff were so rude at Fantastic Furniture in Qld store, but we eventually decided it was all we could afford and if it atleast lasts us a few years (which we doubt very much) then that would be fine. If… Read more

you want the sofa in a fabric (like the display) it is actually dearer...so be aware you only get the inferior choice and when our package arrived the coffee table was damaged and we had to wait 6weeks for replacement. The sofa is very weak timber so I wouldn't let your kids jump on it and the dining chairs are so cheap and flimsy. Please be careful as this package is not at all worth it and we will be slowly replacing the lot as soon as we can afford it! Good to start with (however I do only mean START!) Fast Delivery...initially! Lots...The whole package is a con...made very very cheaply...the staff were rude and it was like a hassle serving us as we wer taking away from their lunch or something!

OK – overall for someone starting out fantastic furniture is wonderful staff sometimes not anxious to serve but if you keep looking eventually someone will oblige i have had to return one piece because it was faulty other then that no real problems inexpensive usually has to be assembled at home and often difficult

Terrible – Fantastic Furniture is cheap, nasty trash. The tables scratch as soon as you look at them, they wobble no matter what, and i'm afraid to put my laptop on it in case it catches fire, and it doesn't even run hot. The service was diabolical and their stooges delivered it at 6 in the morning. All in all, a deeply unpleasnt experience and a waste of your hard earned. Try Ikea

OK – Ill spend the money and get something better next time. Ok if you only need it for a very very short amount of time, as the products arent high quality, but i suppose you get what you pay for. Cheap. Locations everywhere so theres not one too far away. Packages make it even cheaper, if thats what you want. Good selection of various items to make… Read more

your house feel like home. Delivery fees are high, and we got our items delivered and they were scratched in transit. No replacement or even fix up job done by fantastic. Couch cusions sat after like 2 weeks.
