Fias Lighting 48" Ceiling Fan with Light White

Unreliable – I purchased 3 Fias fan/ light & remote budget combos for various bedrooms. I found them adequate in cooling a average room but the bearings got a little noisy in two of them as they heated up. The light globe housing dimension was small & limited the physical size of the globe that could be used. Because of that the light globe & it's output was limited to what size would fit. Having a remote control the installation was straight forward as the fan with the hardware supplied utilised the original light fixture position & wiring. They seemed for the $ to be reasonable value until the next season & the warranty ran out ,two of the three had the remote control modules fail soon after each other. I contacted the supplier but as the warranty was out only offered to sell me a new modules of which I declined. I purchased replacement fan/light combo's with larger light housings and standard wall control switches. I found remote controls useful but if unreliable as mine were rendered the fan useless. Update since writing this review the 3rd fan has now also failed.
