Poor product and service – Bought this in Feb 2024 Worked ok for 10 months and them threw error code E6 Waited 3 weeks for tech who had a look and said not warranty as insufficient ventilation. $2200 to fix but said we would be better off to buy new. No practical help to fix so called ventilation problem. Pre purchase there was no advice re ventilation requirements. Its installed without any obstructions below like a drawer or oven with a shelf 50 cm below and open space for 3 meters horizontally. Raised a complaint which took another 3 weeks and was sent installation instructions different in detail to those supplied. These also relate to installation where there is an obstruction with examples of a drawer or oven. This infers without such obstructions these instructions are not required. This does not relate to our situation. Also says requires 4mm gap to allow air to be exhausted from under unit. We have a vertical gap. No advice to say it must be horizontal. We have 4 other F & P products but will never purchase again. Some others have thermal cut off if overheated, these do not. Beware!!
