WHAT A PITY handle is not adjustable – What a pity that they did not make handle adjustable so you can make hole in tight spots. And spare blades not easy to find. Otherwise it is good tool to have.

GREAT TOOL – Dug 30cm x 15cm deep holes in mostly thick red clay for drainage under planting beds and are now ready for potting mix to be put in there. I'll be ordering the 20cm blades for post holes to put up climbing plants. Great tool, I have their mattock, weed puller and now the post hole digger. Fiskars are worth the money.

A Hole Digging Tool that Really Works as Advertised – Prior to purchasing this hole digger I used to use a long handle spade. The problem with the spade is that all the holes were different sizes and when you came across rocks and roots in the soil it became a nightmare to dig the hole. Once I purchased the Fiskar that all changed. Every hole I dig now is the same size and 150mm (200mm spades available) and when planting a lot of 140mm potted trees this has been a godsend. Aside from cutting through the roots is that the Fiskar breaks up the soil so after you have put your tree into the ground all the soil can be packed around the tree to make is sturdy and better for the roots. With the spade I had clumps of hard ground which had to be broken up by hand.

This is an amazing tool and thoroughly recommended.
