not the best seal – FYI it seems that if you drop the water bottle or it gets a dent in the stainless steel, the inner seal must break because like the reviews before mine, the bottles worked great at keeping the ice until they got small dents. The ice will stay overnight but no more and even that is a stretch. I will still use the bottles but probably would not buy them again

Probably Not Worth the Shipping Costs – I had high hopes for this water bottle after all the glowing reports I had read online. It is okay and function able, but my two gripes are: 1. The plastic neck top has a very sharp edge and is not comfortable to drink from. 2. There were lots of reports of ice staying in the bottle all day. I don't live in a hot climate by any means, but have found the ice melts more or less within the hour, so not sure how ice can stay whole all day in some of the reports I've read, and apparently in hot climates.

Probably not worth the effort – I bought the Flylady water bottle after glowing reviews on the Flylady website. Visually, it is simple and streamlined in shape with no logos. It is advertised as fitting in a standard car drink bottle holder, but didn't quite fit in our Tarago holders. The lid seals well however, so having it lying down is not a problem. Although the lid section is plastic, it is solid and I have had no problems with it. The moulded mouthpiece has a quite sharp edge, so I would be careful with children using it, especially while walking. It has continued to seal well. Initially the insulating properties were very good, and both hot and cold drinks stayed that way for several hours. I felt confident carrying cold milk drinks in it, even in summer in Queensland. It didn't sweat either. After just over one year's use, however, I noticed that the insulating properties had largely disappeared, and now it does not keep drinks any colder than a non-insulating bottle. I emailed Flylady, and found that the bottle had a one year warranty against manufacturing defects, so there was nothing that could be done. Apparently bumping or dropping the bottle can cause the vacuum seal to break, and although I hadn't done this to the best of my knowledge, it could have happened. Caution is not advised on the website, with several testimonials stating how solid it is even when dropped or run over by a car! Kept drinks hot/cold well, in a water bottle format Not as robust as I had thought it would be.
