Ford Falcon Ute FG X (2014-Current)

Great car - what a shame they don't make them any more! – FGX Cab Chassis. EcoLpi. Bought this August 2016 and have done nearly 160,000ks so far. I've had 3 of these - a 2nd hand AU2, 260,000k a new FG 2010 240,000K and this one. The window lift switch on this one failed a little while ago - $60.00 on EBay, and I've added some sound deadening here and there, but other than that, totally reliable. Comfortable, handles well, easy on tyres - only on my 2nd set, economical gets about 15k per 100 on average and not much higher when towing around 1000kg on a regular basis. The Sat-Nav is a disaster though and I'd love a much higher driving range than than the 500+k I get. Overall, looking at the dramas others experience with Rangers and the like this car is great.
