I’m stuck on step 3 of auto setup. How do you exit this mode?
We just got a new foxtel box was working fine just got back from 2 weeks holidays and the red standby light stays on the new foxtel box we have had for 5 weeks is frozen how do we reset it
Hi I have been having problems with my iq3 remote as it delays so annoying and foxtel tells me my unit needs updating which done several times and no go and now it pops up say some garbage about expired wow never had a problem with the old box

In your menu settings, it should be listed on the top of the setting menu- even before you make your setting selection. Also will be listed: back of the unit, manual ( if you have it,), and on your (telstra?) Bill. Or if none of these work for you, ring foxtel.

Random recorded programs have playback starting at the end of the program. I have to use the red button to get to the start. It's like someone has already been watching the recording, but I'm the only one using it.

My foxtel iQ3 light goes from red to amber also when its on it goes from blue to amber. When downloading everything we download says loss of signal what is wrong?

Need to reset thru settings. If that don't work, contact foxtel, as they CAN reset on their systems. But, they usually don't reset as their customer service is excellent.....NOT!
Can you use iq3 without internet? Currently have iq2 with dish on roof.
You don't need internet to operate and use IQ3.

Having read the reviews on IQ3 I wonder if I made the right decision to move from IQ2 to IQ3! Any chance of sending me an IQ4 instead? And will that avoid the problems that others have had?
Andy, as long as you are prepared for satellite then iQ4 is an option (offered as satellite only to force people off cable). I’ll be interested to know if you have issues with it as I’m at the point of dumping Foxtel altogether given the cost and general crapness of the service, both the support and the overall platform.

I don't think you can but suggest you phone Foxtel.
I have since found the answer - Hold down the Play button for 3 seconds and it takes you to slow motion
