Franke fraganite sink – White fraganite Franke sink. Do not buy! We followed cleaning instructions and the sink is terribly stained and marked. We will replace with a non-Franke sink. Franke continually sent the cleaning instructions when we lodged a complaint and surprise surprise the warranty doesn’t cover staining issues. The photos are taken after cleaning when it’s… Read more

looking it’s best. Even the seller ‘Winning Appliances’ were surprised that Franke just said sorry and didn’t inspect it. My mum has a white sink that is clean and going well after 35 years! Ours lasted two months.

White films and stains appeared on the Frankie fragranite sink – We bought the Frankie sink for our new kitchen. UNG621ONLHD. We only owned the sink for 2 days after installation to our new kitchen. We noticed there are white films converted on the right hand bowl and on a few other areas around the sink. We thought it’s dirt and can be wiped the dust away with a warm water clothes, wiped again using a dried… Read more

cloth. The white films / stain reappeared immediately. We followed the instructions sheet which cames with the sink and continue to clean the last 2 days on and off with no successful. Contact customer help desk with ZERO help. They now point the finger to the kitchen man who’s installed the sink and said that something has been put on the sink to create these stain and white films. We were standing there to inspect, assist while he was installing and he did nothing but put the sink to the position and connect all the pipes. After reading and following through all these reviews and definitely there are faulty on the Frankie sinks . I am not sure what the guarentee there for but customer care refuse to look into or accept the issues apart from saying this is simply the cleaning problem. ONLY 2 days, not weeks or months and they said that go and get the lime scale remover and continue cleaning. We spent hour and try again still no success. Only 2 days, not even start to use the kitchen 100% to cook. All the pictures and evident have been sent to the retail and the customer team. I will continue to chase to get to the bottom of this to get a replacement, refund. PLEASE DO NOTBUY the Frankie sinks. Do not attract by the look and being told the best technology blah blah blah if you want to avoid stress. Their customer team are terrible and not helpful. They may have simply got a script and apply to everyone whose has bad experience with the sink instead of assisting to resolve the issue in a fairer manner. This sink should be withdrawn from the market and shouldn’t be sold to other customers. This is not right !!! I will get to the bottom of this. If I can rate no ⭐️. I will

Avoid these sinks like the plague they are not worth the trouble or aggravation. Show details

Don’t buy!! – I renovated my kitchen and my only regret is my white Franke granite sink that was supposed to be almost indestructible according to sales people but is anything but. Found a chip next to the drain within a week! Franke said it’s not covered on their warrantee. The rough surface means it holds dirt all the time. It stains easily. It is so hard to… Read more

clean. Franke customer service has been so poor. The sales people sold me on this sink saying it was the strongest you’ll get & has a long warrantee but both were wrong. I wish I had of just gone stainless steel.

Poor product, terrible warranty and zero customer care – Our Franke sink is 6 years old. The black colour has gone milky. Phoned to discuss the issue with Franke, I was told to read the warranty. The warranty rules them out of any and all liability full stop. I certainly wouldn't buy or recommend a Franke sink. Show details

Hate it, stupid design that traps water on the middle part as it's too wide! – We bought this sink, the double sink with the wide part in the middle. The middle part (the elevated bit that separates the two sinks) is too wide and flat that it doesn't drain the water that invariably water pools on the middle section. If I leave the water too long it backs toward the tap and starts to go bad. Terrible design, wish we didn't buy it. Seems to be the latest trend in double sink designs. Show details

Franke Fragranite Basis BFG 621 Onyx – Currently doing a kitchen renovation and we chose to install a Franke sink. Yes I agree they look great and yes the description sounds like it’s a wise choice so we were sold on it. Yesterday the tiling around and behind the sink was taking place. Upon cleaning at the end of the day I found a chip/nick along the edge of the sink. I’m not too sure… Read more

what the tiler has done but I’m left with a chipped sink before even getting to use it. Contacted customer support who were not interested in helping because it isn’t a manufactured fault. I actually informed them it wasn't a factory fault but I was looking for help if they knew of a way to repair or if I could attempt to fix it with an epoxy... something... only to be told, in short, very short, NO. Pretty much could read their body language through the phone and in the tone of their voice. So, although I don’t know what caused the chip I would assume if a person were to knock cooking pots on the sink there may be a chance it damages it, you may also not BUT it may happen. Something a stainless steel sink will not do. Personally through my own experience before getting to even use my Franke Sink I do not recommend the Franke Basis BFG 621 Fragranite Onyx Sink and unfortunately I cannot recommend Franke because of my experience with their customer service. My opinion, not worth the risk!

Great looking sink – I was doing a Kitchen update / reno that included replacing my sink. We had an enamel sink that would easily mark. After that experience, my wife insisted that we get a stainless steel sink that would not mark…… then I saw this sink. WOW – looks great. I showed my wife and she said “you know what I think of coloured sinks” but the salesman… Read more

explained this a type of stone (80% quartz sand, 20% hard acrylic resin). It does not mark, it will not stain. We have had it for 8 months and he is right. It still looks great.

This model can be left or right handed, you simply cut the hole for the tap on the side you want it.

Service is VERY good. The unit was meant to come with a special drill bit for cutting the tap hole (allows the units to be a left or right setting) but ours was missing. Even so, cutting this hole was making my plumber and I nervous (I had heard that if you get it wrong, you can crack/wreck the sink). I put a call in to the service centre and they agreed to send a drill bit out in the mail to me but I asked if I could come to their warehouse and get them to do it – as I lived only 20mins from their Dandenong warehouse. I was expecting them to say no but they said “sure”. I really had nothing to worry about as it was easy to cut with the right drill bit. Under the sink it has pre-mounted hole cuts to make it easy. I watched them do it in a couple of minutes. Still GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE.

If you get this sink, also consider the insinkerator 3in1 Multitap. If you go to their web site – it has that tap with this sink. They are a striking combo. I have put a review up on this product also.

Stylish and sleek – Simple design, great sized tubs of equal size. Doesn’t show water marks and the dark colour keeps it looking clean! Sink came with drill bit to drill hole for tap so didn’t need to purchase parts for installation.  Show details

3 months old and rusting – Our $700+ Franke double bowl sink is already rusting and scratched and Franke think this is normal. Not according to Australian Consumer Affairs I'll bet. I was not told this product would look old after only 12 WEEKS. Parkwood Plumbing have been excellent and I would deal with them again not certainly NOT FRANKE. Sorry I couldn't give them a 1/4 star. Will be taking the matter further if it is not replaced  Show details

Expensive and marks – This product already marks and scratches having only been installed recently. Deeply disappointed with this purchase. Considering I was lead to believe that they had the latest technology I should have purchased another brand being Shock or Blanco.  Show details

Franke Granite sink - super classy! – I had my kitchen renovated about 6 months ago and the majority of the comments from my friends is about my sink. Who would have thought my sink would get more raves than the appliances I spent a stack of money on. It not only looks great but is practical and functinal too. Although I loved the look of the granite, I was worried how it would… Read more

Thank god I found FRANKE – Thank god I found FRANKE's granite sink. My previous sink (different brand - won't name them, but also European) cracked after only 4 months. Although they offered a replacement, I decided that I wasn't up for replacing it again in another 4 months. The FRANKE granite sink is beautiful, hard wearing, plus my friends are so envious. What makes it even better are the accessories - chopping board and rolling up mat.  Show details

Excellent Franki black double sink – I love my franki black sink, easy to keep clean, the silver knob is a great idea for letting the water out of the sink, it looks excellent in my newly renovated kitchen. Beautiful Sink – The most beautiful sink - mine was ruined by the remote waste fitting that I was not aware existed. Useless large silver knob at the front and centre of the sink. Not featured on any of the websites, brochures or showrooms that I looked at. The Australian distributor has told me bad luck, I should have known!  Show details
