Do not buy a Franke Box 220. After one month the sink is scratched and stained. Bought a Fienza tub for my laundry at the same time for a third of the price and no scratches no marks. Show details

Franke Box 220 sink – I have purchased Franke sinks for years and always been very happy with them. However, the Box 220 is extremely disappointing. The sink scratches extremely easily even though I’m paranoid about care and avoiding scratches. I purchased the sink in 2021 and it looks like a cheap product with multiple scratches. I have a small dent where something… Read more

was dropped. Having paid $1150 for the double sink I expected better quality. It is low quality Chinese stainless steel. I also have the Box sinks in the pantry and laundry. The laundry sink is similarly scratched and again I am extremely careful. The sink design being ultra flat looks good but doesn’t drain properly. Poorly designed for kitchen use.

Franke Bolero Box 220 $999 - expensive for a piece of junk – Installed 2 months ago and scratches were so visible. Contacted the Customer Care (very uncaring) and treated me like an idiot. I was advised by several uncaring Customer Care Kellie and Tarsha - that I incorrect use the sink by stocking up things dry (advised by email that it should be wet). I was even given a lecture that I have chosen the… Read more

wrong sink (you bet I did). I was advised that their Franke Twiste might help hide the scratches so I asked that they send me the product until the scratches are not visible - Well! another insult - I was given a website about it and that was it. Totally ignored that they might try to find a solution to my concern.

I just wonder if Mr Walter Franke, son of the founder Hermann Franke is aware of what consumers are saying about their product.

I would appreciate if Mr Alexander Zschokke, CEO since 2018 would like to respond to the reviews of their customers.

I asked where their "Warning to say Handle With Extreme Care because it will SCRATCH" - no response on this either.

Now I realised I am not the only sucker in town.

Just Terrible – Installed in my newly built house and after 8 weeks looks like junk. Scratched all over despite care being taken and only plates, glasses and cutlery washed. Hate to think what it's going to look like after I start suing it to wash heavy saucepans and bakeware. This is my 4th Franke sink and didn't check the specs carefully before selecting it.… Read more

Now realise it's made in China and that explains everything. Inox cream is not going to solve this problem.

Extra large square two bowl sink, can’t fault it – Big enough to clean baking dishes and frying pans in, capacity to hold several dishes, a square shape is more versatile than a round one we think. We purchased the matte finish which after much use displays no scratches. A great product which enhances our new kitchen. Show details

Terrible cheap quality sink – Looks horrible after using it for only a few days, scratches easy, and large marks everywhere. Very disappointed. Company sent out some powder paste, meant to help but hasn't done anything. For the amount of money this sink cost I'm really disappointed. Removing it will be a nightmare as it is an undermount. I bought this sink because they… Read more

offer a 50 year warranty and because the are meant to be one of the best Companies that makes sinks. Dont be fooled this sink is made in CHINA even though they advertise that they are a Switz technology Company. Try and find details of where sink is made on website, no information available. Really unfair Franke I spent a lot of money on this sink.

Looks dreadful – Looks perfect until you use the sink. The sink shows every scratch and mark on it and I dropped a plate inside the sink and now it shows a dent and looks like a 10 year old sink. Very thin stainless steel and the waste plugs have now failed and won't hold water in. Show details

Nope, terrible build – Installed in my house, I had paid $1000 for a Franke 'Swiss' made sink but is actually made in China. This thing is completely worn out after 3 months and looks like 30 years old, scratches all over, roll mate included has rust marks, I dropped a knife in and it shows a massive dent through it. Show details

Terrible Build Quality – Purchased this in 2017, it is beyond doubt the worst kitchen sink I have ever purchased. The sink has brown rust marks all over it, the sink is badly scratched and shows every mark you make on it. At $1000 I expect better than this. I'm using sink polishes every time I clean it to help hide the marks but this only lasts for a few days and then I'm back to square 1.
