Worst company ever – The company franke. It's a kitchen appliance company that has so many customers complaining about no warranty help and discarding us or blaming us over their faulty appliances. My 3 thousand dollar stove top cracked while cooking last Wednesday. I'm not rich and saved up for yrs for a house renovation and was convinced that buying good quality products would out last me, not the case, I don't have 3k to buy a new one, nor should I have to. But the company has left me without a stove for over a week now and looks like forever. Especially over Xmas. The amount of 1 star reviews this company has is ridiculous, and the lack of communication or help is horrible. They claim I broke it and refused warranty even though the crack is exactly like what the said in email a manufacturer fault looks like. It cracked twice. First straight through 1 line no chips just split in half, second was seconds later when it cracked where the hot pot was still sitting on it. In a circle type crack. My security camera caught it all and they still claim I dropped something on it. I did not. I don't like being called a lier or made out to be one. Highly offensive to someone who doesn't lie.

Great cooktop – Very precise temperature control. I initially wanted gas for this reason but it would have been impossible to install into our internal downstairs kitchen, so was talked into induction by the sales rep. Very happy with the cooktop I bought. It has the very precise and instantaneous control that used to only be available with gas. This cooktop has the ability to link zones on both sides, which is important when using a frypan or stockpot which doesn’t fit neatly into a single zone. I find the timer quite useful despite thinking initially this would be a bit of a gimmick. I wouldn’t say I couldn’t live without it, but it comes in handy to be able to set the time without having to watch that myself. The keep warm function is also very handy with a large family who may not all be home at the same time for dinner. Finally, it’s super easy to clean, a big advantage vs a gas stove.
