Franke Kitchen Sink – Very very disappointed with our two Franke sinks installed in April 2019 one in the main kitchen hardly ever used and never been used for actual washing up the other in the scullery which I do use for washing up. They are worst sinks I have every had. Both never look clean and are badly scratched. If I was to give them a score out of 10 it would be ZERO. Have contacted Franke by phone call and email - one week later still have not been contacted. Show details

So much maintenance – Franke sink is strong but my god, this sink is such a pain to keep clean. See images attached. I cleaned the sink last night with jif and dried it out with a towel. This morning someone fills a water bottle and splashes the sink and this is how the water dries. Now I have to go through the whole jif and drying process again. This is EVERY single… Read more
time someone uses the sink for even just a glass of water. It’s a 10 min job each time and drives me crazy. My Clark laundry sink does not do this. Water just beads off the surface and dries nice and shiny with no streaks or water rings etc. I have written to Franke multiple times about this and they simply copy and paste an involved process of how to clean it. But no one has time to do this over and over!
Very disappointed – When purchasing the Karst I saw the display model and thought the surface was dull and put it down to being the display. My Frankie is exactly as the display model, dull and lifeless and so hard to keep polished. From install time, any drips of water not immediately wiped up stains the surface and anything like a pot or tray scratches the… Read more
surface of the stainless on contact. I contacted Frankie who told me it was wear and tear, they did send me their Frankie Twister which is a cleaner and every time I use it the sponge becomes black from the surface- quality stainless??? I have to live with this sink for a while but I wish the stainless steel quality was more superior, then this review would be much different as I really love the configuration.
I do have the Bolero in Frankie and wished I had gone with this for my kitchen sink as the quality of the stainless steel is so much better, easy to clean, no water marks or scratching. Initially I did have rusting but that has not appeared again.
A word of advice, check your material gauge and quality prior to purchase.
Terrible SInk and worst warranty – Clips underneath the sink started to fall off, I called Franke and they mentioned they would replace it, but only sink, not installation. The one they sent me had a massive dent. My conclusion is that they will cover warranty but send you a damaged version that cannot be sold under normal circumstances. Dodgy as. Show details
Very expensive and easily scratched – Recently i purchased franke double bowls sink from Harvey Norman Fountain gate Vic. I select franke double bowl sink price of $1100 but after use of 2-3 days it looks very ugly and lot of scratches, when i call to harvey norman and franke kitchen they said it is wear and tear, if you buy $400 sink from Bunnings or good guys its same thing… Read more
happened, so please don't spend money on franke sink, buy cheaper one from bunnings, if you need photos or legal doc, i will show you.
Again please do not buy franke sink.
Awesome design, looks perfect – Purchased one at the beginning of the year. It looks great in the kitchen, all the accessories fit perfectly and are designed to be useful! This sink does scratch however every sink does - bit of stainless steel cleaner makes it look like new! Show details
Franke2600 Karst 1&3/4 Left Hand Bowl – Purchased and installed before Christmas 2014. The stainless steel had scratched badly. It is appauling. The sink we removed was the house for over 60 years and would always shin with no scratches.I would not recommend buying the brand due to the poor quality of the steel
