Great value and quality leather sofas – Very happy with our Aldo leather 2 and 3 seater sofas. We have no problems with comfort and don't find that when lying down the frame can be felt through the cushions at all as mentioned in another review. We also didn't have any issues with a new leather odour. These sofas are still going strong after 3 years with minimal wear to the foam - we do… Read more

however make sure we mix up where we sit so that one spot doesn't get too saggy to quickly.

I regularly clean our cream leather with natural soap (plain laundry soap) and warm water and they come up like new every time!

Only reason for not giving 5 stars is I believe for the price you pay you are getting a 4 star product. There are definitely better leather sofas out their if you want to spend more money.

Its like sitting on wood! – Worst purchase i have ever made and for over 2 grand it makes me so mad! Leather is still hard after over a year, the 3 seater feels like is has a massive steel rod down the middle which makes it so uncomfortable to lie down. I have never regretted a purchase as much as this and am in the process of selling it for half price. Gutted Colour and i always buy my furniture from freedom so trusted it would be a good purchase.

Nice Sofa, Got it on sale – Yes, I agree with the other reviews in respect to the new smell that it gives off. But that went away in a few days. The leather is quite good for the price, though its getting slight wrinkles when you get off the sofa which bugs me a bit. The look is very modern and the curves are just right for my home. Got a nice rug to go with the sofa. Nice design and colour Initial smell

Smelly leather – This series of lounges are not at the higher range of leather lounges. And to that extent, we have since offloaded our lounge suite. Without access to any product details or brochures, I haven't be able to accurately identify the quality of leather. Frame: The way that I've generally judged the quality of the frame and wood used, is from the… Read more

weight of the lounge suite. This series, is relatively light, but have had suites from the bay, which were even lighter. So not impressed by the frame quality.

Foam:

Like most foam cores in sofas, they eventually display some sag. This was true for this suite.

Upholstery (Leather):

This is where I was quite disappointed. This suite suffers from the usual cost cutting methods, practiced by many budget furniture outlets. The leather used on the seating areas are of higher quality, and the "leather" on the arm rests, sides and back are of lesser quality. The sides and back, appeared to be highly fibrous, and would guess either split or a leather reconstitute. What really disappointed, was the fact that the leather used on these areas contained a peculiar smell - I've confirmed that sofas from the same series at their stores exhibit similar smell. The leather used on the seating areas were slightly better than the average budge furniture, but not overly impressive.

Overall:

Not impressed, but not surprised for the asking price.
