You can easily tell the replies are generic and not relevant to the content being discussed. she needs to give her boss a month’s notice to get a day off. When I challenged her about having to take sick leave she said she did it once and got into trouble for it. I was once politely up front right at the beginning, about not being interested in long term back and forth chat. It was ignored and just kept continuing to ask questions about my personal life to keep the conversation going.
