My printer will not come out of Deep Sleep mode. I have disconnected and reconnected, but nothing. It has tone nd printed out the Pinter Settings fine, but then nothing.
my printer will now only work on manual feed of the paper. Is there a way to revert to automatic printing? Thanks Jan

I should add to my original question that I bought my p265 dw from my neighbour who has no idea how to use it either. All I want to do is connect my android phone to it and print things off the internet. I'm not a digital native and I have no idea how to set up and use this printer. Desperately need somebodies help. I've changed my router/Modem and have new SSID and password. Using the WPS didn't work. I think its nothing to do with printer- you have to control the setting in printer option from your pc/laptop. go to print setting- advanced option - color - there should be couple of options

how do you know which is the right driver, This change from white black background happened after I got new laptop with the latest windows 10
Hi Susan and Mualla, I faced the same problem, but apparently overcame the problem by selecting the right driver. This is what I did: Firstly, go to external link to select the operating system for your laptop. Then look under the driver type. Mualla, your operating system is windows 10 (same as mine). The recommended driver is 32/64 bit Windows Print Driver, with driver type PCL. Knowing this, go to your settings in windows; under printer, select printer properties. You will see a drop-down menu for Driver under the Advanced tab. For windows 10, I selected Microsoft PCL6 Class Driver. So far so good for me. Hope it's legit and it works for you too :)

I've changed the toner in the printer for the first time, and the print quality is terrible. It's printing like an ink printer that is low on ink. Any ideas how to fix or what the issue is? Thanks.
Hi Clare, I've not changed a toner cartridge yet, so I'm not sure what the problem is. According to the online manual the printer needs to be 'on' when changing the toner, did you do that? Otherwise in the 'Print' menu of the manual there's instructions on how to print a 'settings' page and how to change them.
