You don't even appear to have Contact Details for New Zealanders. That's an insult. We are not Australia. 2. I have been using Garnier Nutrisse hair colour for over 40 years but it is now Not Fit For Purpose, as friends + I find. My hairdressers clients the same. 3. The colour now only lasts about 12 days and has no depth! 4. The plastic Colour… Read more
Developer is now opaque so can't be acurately measured for touch up treatments. What a very disappointing product and waste of money this product now is. No more!
Don't know if it's coincidence or the same company owns it, but it's gone down the same path as L'Oréal Excellence - just awful, thick greenish slush!! Will never use again.. Will have to look for a new brand Show details
NOT impressed with the new formula. Terrible grey coverage and dull, lackluster color. I have used Garnier Nutrisse for over 15 years and I am sooooo disappointed... Show details

Be brave and give it a go – Ok! Decided to save myself the cost of foils, so purchased a box from Woolies. It took me 4 days to get enough courage. Overall, I am pleased with the results. I didn’t cover my whole head, rather combed it through with a wide tooth comb. Was wanting a foil effect. Lol. Really nervous that it would change my dark blonde into what is shown on the… Read more
front cover. It didn’t. Thank goodness. On the package side it showed what my dark blonde would turn out to be. It did. I really didn’t want to look like the front cover blonde. Prefer a natural effect, instead of “hello … I have dyed my hair” appearance. May use it again, not sure. Purchased product at half price.
Never use this brand again – Not happy the hair colour turned my grey new growth orange, had to rediy my hair the next morning and now I'm out of pocket as well. Show details
Will not buy this anymore – The new formula is really difficult to use. I've used and reccommended GARNIER nutrisse for 15yrs. I could apply the colour to my roots in 15 mins. It was great. Now I've had 3 packs where the formula is so thick it will not come out of nozzle. Its like molassis and sticks to everything and flicks around the room, when i try to get it out. The… Read more
pigment is so strong that i cannot clean it off my skin. My bathroon is a mess. I'm so disapointed that after 15 years i need to find another brand. Goodbye garnier. Why on earth did you change it?

Why change the quality and formula that had set Garnier apart from the conpetition? – I have been using Garnier Nutrisse hair colour for a decade until your recentl change in firmula. What a dissapointment. The colour is completely different from the old formula and turns red! I had discovered Garnier years ago when I was in the aisle contemplating which brand to try as I was experimenting with several brands & colour combinations.… Read more
A customer in the shop was purchasing several boxes of Garnier Nutrisse and recommended I try adding " I have tried everuthing, you are going to love this product, trust me you will thank me". I was so happy, no more mixing colours and trying different brands. I had FOUND my ideal hair colour -Garnier no 6. The perfect shade, cover and shine! It was miles apart from any of the competion. Garnier had the perfect shade, looked shiny and natural and did not turn. The new formula is awful, nothiing to do with the prior wonderful product. Sadly, I will no longer purchase, turns red and horrible quality. Why would you change the product when iit was popular as I often struggled finding my colour as it fkew off the shelves. I wish I had stored boxes prior to the change of product.
Good healthy result – I was very happy with this product. Having dark brown hair, I chose the light brown (06). Sound odd? I've realised with home colorants that you have to go lighter (within reason) than what you would ideally think because the colours invariably deepen in tone. I've also realised you do not need to keep the colour on for the full recommended time.… Read more
So instead of 25 minutes, I rinsed after 20. The result was perfect. My hair has light brown highlights whilst maintaining the mid brown overall. Any grey is gone. The product is pretty simple to use, though the colour solution bottle has a creamy texture that is not easy to squeeze into the mixing bottle. A design flaw, but ok. There is a whiff of ammonia, but not overpowering and it is balanced by the fruity scent. What I did love, is that when washed out, my hair was not stick dry as with other brands (before conditioning). The conditioner itself is lovely and creamy and plentiful. My hair was very shiny and soft and healthy looking. It did not have that "just dyed, dried out" look. Will certainly use again.
Good – Its a good colouring product which does what it says it will do. It covers grey and is really easy to use with the gloves provided. The conditioner smells great too. It is much easier to use than a lot of other brands I have tried, so thats why I buy this one the most. I have only bought others when I have been desperate and the other brands were… Read more
on sale at the time. This is the brand I have used most often and I keep coming back to it if I have tried another brand because the other brand was on sale. It provides good coverage and the best thing is I can apply it and then wash it off when the time is up. There are others on the market where you have to apply, then lather it up with water (which means you have to get the hair wet, which usually means you have to get wet too) and then wait again and then get wet again when you wash it off. With this product, its much easier because you just apply and rinse when the time is up. The colour can last a little while longer, but its still good enough to use.

It did the job just as I wanted – I used a level 7 in another brand and it was too dark. I allowed 8 weeks using a clarifying shampoo, and then applied the Nutrisse Blond in the blue box. I’m so thrilled with the result! I’m back to my usual blonde shade, the old colour is gone, and my hair looks and feels fine. I was afraid I might end up orange, but it’s really excellent. recommend it if you’re realistic about what you expect, and read the instructions. I covered my head with gladwrap while I waited the 30 minutes processing to keep it warm. Definitely recommend this product.
Very easy to apply and great grey coverage! – I tried this product for the first time today as my usual product was sold out. I’m so glad I did, the colour is great and my hair is really soft! Recommended! Show details
Very pretty tonal blonde – I tried this hair colour as my previous L’Oréal Age Perfect blonde hair colour appears to be discontinued. I have a lot of grey, and chose the Garnier shade as it is tonal rather than a block colour. It was easy to use, although a little runny. I’m very happy with the result as it’s true to the shade on the box. It has not damaged my hair in any way. I would definitely use it again! Show details

This has become THE worst experience in coloring my hair. The color is extremely difficult to mix, the color is way too sticky and the whole experience has become a nightmare! Why on earth did Garnier change a great product to such a bad one? It used to be so good.
Dreadful Product – Absolutely dreadful, this dye is very hard to mix and to use, extremely thick and sticky. After 40 minutes this chocolate color is red at the roots. there is something seriously wrong with this product, do not use it, terrible results. Show details
Did not cover my grey hear – I have been colour my hair for years and try many brands but It was the first time I use this dye. I am afraid will be the last. I follow the instruction (even allow 10 more min for the dye) and here I am just two days later dying my heir again because my whites were not covered. It is a petty because smell nice.

Awful NEW formula – Awful. Have used this hair colour for years.. What have they done to it ? The first time I used this NEW formula I thought it had gone bad. It is SO thick it's practically unusable.Very, very difficult to mix evenly. The colour was not the same either as I only touch up my grey roots it is very noticeable. Will never use this again I'm changing to a different brand . Why oh why did you change it and who is responsible? Show details
New Ultra Creme formula is Ultra terrible! – The new formula is so thick it takes twice as long to colour hair, as you need two hands to squeeze the bottle & barely enough in the bottle to cover even short hair. The colour is much lighter & doesn't last. Have previously been using this brand happily for many years. Sadly this new formula is dreadful & needs to be taken off the market. Show details
New Nutrisse formula – OMG .This is formula is the absolute worst hair dye I have ever used.My hair turned red once time and now ,it didn t cover up the gray after an hour. I will never use their products again Show details
Do not use this product. It is faulty and needs reporting to Garnier – Oh dear, what on earth have they done to this hair colourant?!! Not only is it too thick to even mix properly but the colour is NOTHING like it was or should be. I have been using this hair colourant for years and it's been great.... up until the last two boxes I've bought. The first one that was awful, I thought may just have been a one off so I… Read more
threw it away and bought another one. Second one is exactly the same. It even looks green! Something needs to be done to inform Garnier that this product is faulty before too many people have their hair ruined.
Not happy – Since the formula change, my hair I'd dry and brittle. My usual colour was great and I used to get comments on how good it looked but it is now fading so fast it looks brassy and cheap. Sorry but I'm changing brands Show details
Awful – Absolutely hate this new formula, why change it ? It's an absolute nightmare to apply and the colours are not like they were before. I am devastated and can't understand why they were ever changed, for what reason???? Awful Show details

Not good – Not good at all. Used it for years and loved it, but recently its got so thick and now not easy to get out of bottle. The conditioner is equally as thick and the paper comes off the bottle all over hands. Think its time to change brands unfortunately Show details
New Formula is Horrible – The new formula is awful. I've been using the same Darkest Brown colour for the last decade and the new formula has ruined my hair. The last two times I have dyed my hair have come out horribly flat and dry, with a completely different colour to what it was. Nutrisse used to be a wonderfully nourishing dye, I will no longer be using it unfortunately. Why "fix" something that isn't broken! Show details
Change the formula back !!! – I have used this for years with out any problem , but last few times has been completely different, awful thick cream which does not come out of bottle well and the colour is now dull and lifeless , no shine ! What have they done to this product !!! Will unfortunately have to stop using and find something else . Show details
Changed formula is too thick to get out of the bottle – I've been using Garnier Nutrisse Ultra Creme for over 10 years. I had problems with the last two kits I purchased and from reading reviews it sounds like they have a new formula. The product is very thick now and hard to squeeze out of the bottle. It's like it's clogging up and you have to stop and give it a really good shake to get it moving… Read more
again. Not just once but many times during the dying process. I'm going to have to switch to L'Oreal (which I do use some times) because I don't have a problem with that brand.
The new formula isn't good – On the first day, it's fab! The first week it loses a lot of colour and goes ginger. I need to find a new dye. I've used this number for years but the last 4 months...not good! Red brown was good, not ginger! Show details
Horrible new formula – I have used this product and colour for many years. Now the formula has changed and has an orange tone that does not cover roots well at all. Product is also much too thick now and one application does not cover my medium length hair. Very disappointing. Show details
Awful new formula – I shall have to find a new hair dye as this new formula is nowhere near as good as the old one, I'm so disappointed as I've used the old formula for years and loved it ! Show details
Formula changed and for the worse !!!! – Having used nutrisse no 5 in chocolate for years , I have noticed that the last few applications, that the formula has changed , the crème is now much more thicker and very hard to squeeze it out of the bottle , and now very hard to apply and get an even coverage , also the colour is not as rich as it use to be and leaves an orange tinge instead… Read more
of the rich chocolate brown colour . Why you have to change a product that already does a good job I will never no . I will now not use this product again and will be changing to a different brand because of this .
Product going downhill – I have been coloring my wife's hair for several years now and it seems that the formula or packaging has changed. It comes out of the bottle either real fine pinpoint, not at all or in big globs. I am to the point of throwing the bottle against the wall. Yes, I make sure it is shaken up really good (to the point of giving myself shaken father syndrome). I am very frustrated and ready to go with another brand. Show details
Fumes made my eyes sting and the colour doesn't last well at all – When applying the dye, the fumes were so strong my eyes were stinging and watering. I don't recall that happening when previously using this brand. I also ended up with a lot of colour all over my face. It did wash off but the formula seems to drip a lot more than it used to? The colour was a LOT lighter on my grey roots than everywhere else and… Read more
although I didn't mind that contrast, within about 10 days the grey was already showing at my temples. The formula seems to be different than what it used to be, and given these results, I won't be using Garnier Nutrisse again.
Your product has shrunk in mls. Not enough product to dye short hair – Your product has shrunk in mls. Not enough in one pack to dye my bob length hair. I use to have left over in the bottle now it's not enough. It's a laugh that you show people in your package picture with long hair. So disgusted. Will not buy your product ever again Show details
