Great fridge – So happy I find it second hand but still in great condition. Those are beautiful fridges and very resistant. :) I love the space and deepness of this fridge. 7 years still going like the day I brought it – Had to sell as it was too big for our new house and move as a couple from a group of four flatmates. at a fair price and then complained about various issues/wanted refund after a week. So I came and inspected it. Gawd - It received damage due to transport and they had not even properly plumbed it. To make matters worse they pulled apart the console to see if the icemaker was "fixable" and broke that too. (Easy fix being the icemaker only needed the water line refitted)

People if you get a technical fridge and find you dont really know what you are doing - then dont do it! I think this is why many fridges receive bad reviews during their early life / dont perform to expectations.

I spent half a day to undo their tinkering and get it back to normal. Now 2months have past and I get an apology email from the buyers for their disgruntled behaviour :) Quiet and spacious. Well laid out design and finish. Problems/Error codes can arise if filters are not cleaned or if it is overloaded

Great Fridge/Freezer – We purchased this from Kleenmaid about 5 years ago and it has been a great fridge/freezer. Nice and large, very deep and we love the ice maker and filtered water feature. said that GE are the best fridge you can get and as they are no longer being made we should look after ours. We had to have the service board replaced as it was on its way out, apparently these were faulty in a lot of these fridges and were replaced under warranty when they were new, however we never noticed the noise in our fridge as you could really only hear it at night which was when we were at home and our fridge for many years was built into our kitchen and we also had our bedroom upstairs so never heard the noises. However in saying this it has run for 5 years without problem and moved house 4 times including an interstate move without any problems. However if I had to buy another fridge I wouldn't buy the fridge/freezer side by side again as they are very big, heavy and often don't fit into kitchens unless the kitchen has been built for a really big fridge. I would buy a separate fridge and separate freezer to put side by side or just have the fridge in the kitchen and the freezer in the laundry or somewhere else close by. large and good ice maker water filters for filtered water a bit expensive

nothing is easily accessible! In addition, the warranty does not cover water supply although the hose is hidden somewhere in teh fridge casing! Most of plastic strips on the edges of the trays have cracked.

Terrible – I bought this product 5 years ago. The main board and the display board have just fried and have to be replace at a cost of $610. I bought from Kleenmaid with a 5 year warranty but of course the warranty is now void because of Kleenmaid going into liquidation. board at the front always hot and in summer the fridge works overtime and doesn't keep the ice cold. Not much good about this product Noisy and has now cost me a lot of money

Terrible – What a waste of $5000!!! Will NEVER EVER buy another GE product!! I either have a choice now of continually paying approx $100 per half hour for rest of the fridge's natural life or trash it and buy a cheaper more reliable one. ice maker does not work, the freezer does not freeze, the refrigerator is warm, and is loud. Have had 3 service calls in 3 months.

Terrible – when delivered got dent in door(still has) ice maker been repaired twice in 2 months. The door on freezer begining to tarnish got from kleenmaid who have now gone bust so what do i do now?????? the fridge looks ok but im not overly pleased with it. dont like side by side fridge/freezer but i thought i would try something different

Excellent – GE have new product in the market place now i just bought a PJA25YGXFSV to replace this model. It work like a charm now, it got delevierd with a dent on the side. i called up winning appliance and a lady from andi-co got back to me told me to not to worry it will be repalced if i wanted it to be. i now have my new fridge deleverd yesturday a week… Read more

after my complaint,no dents and its Great. They took the old one away i was impressed. duel evaporaters seem to be working well. proflie has good feature and benefits Climaite keeper 2 is amazing. from what i was told in store.Something about duel evaporaters. its old and need a new one

this fridge (761 liters) a great size for us. Ge has a great name and history behind the company. frost guard doesn't defrost your food. fresh food last longer. our kids drink more water rather than premixed cordial. the fridge comes with a 10 year warranty no one else offers you that piece of mind. free delivery and free installation was great. they also offered to take the old one away free of charge. this fridge is made by GE in the states wire baskets in the freezer fresh mince meat gets stuck in the basket. my wife has found that if you put the cardboard off puff pastry down first you can over come this. water filter lasts us between 6 to 9 months
