out there is one that does this). - There are cooler spots so food doesn't cook evenly, so I often don't use the outer edges or need to allow extra time (this could be a PRO as well as you might have somehting that needs less cooking time but you want them on at the same time for convenience).

Not as good as previous models – Over the past 20-25 years we have always owned a George Foreman grill, the first was by far the best and gave us many years of service. The second had design changes that we did not use such as the variable heat control and did not last as long. biggest problem is it does not heat to a suitable temperature to cook items like bacon or chops and as a result it takes a lot longer to cook and a lot of the flavour has gone.
