Gerni 7300

The hose leaves black marks all over the patio as we are cleaning. Contacted ozito the distributor was told it does that on that type of suface. There was no other hose as an option. Black marks are getting worse as the cleaner gets older Show details
I have had to send my Gerni 7300 back for repair or replacement 3 times in 12 months after only very light duty domestic use. Absolute garbage for the price. Do not buy. Show details
Terrible. Everytime I use it, I have to replace something. The parts are flimsy, the hose splits easily (and I have looked after this machine well, I don’t trash or kink the hose). I purchased the patio cleaner and it’s no good either, you have to bend down to put a really good amount of pressure to hold it down for it to clean anything.
I made the switch to Gerni after being a Karcher user for as long as I can remember because a recent bad run with the K3 Karcher models helped make my mind up. I decided on going for a better up market model Gerni hence the reason I chose the 7300. Purchased from Bunnings on the 1/1/25 and decided to use it for the third time to clean up the back… Read more
patio which went green after all the water from cyclone Alfred. I wasn't even using it when I heard it make an audible humming noise which went for about 30 seconds and stop. Next thing I could smell a strong burning electrical smell indicating there was a severe problem with the machine which now would no longer turn on. No here is where I am really disappointed in my purchase. Given how long I have had it and how little use I have had out of it, Gerni still insist it needs to be returned to Bunnings and sent away for repair. This is unsatisfactory for the amount spent on it and how recently I purchased it, so recent in fact I still was able to return it neatly packed up in the box it came in with all the accessories. Even the Karcher units gave me a longer run than that before giving issues and I have to say the customer care is infinitely better.
Great electric machine but stopped working on the second day – Purchased it yesterday (14/2/25) from Bunnings. After previously having a Karcher that failed and left fluid on the driveway, and then a petrol powered unit , which was hard to start, I was hopeful that this Gerni was going to provide a better experience. I used it yesterday to clean a path, driveway and tiled balcony and it worked a treat. It… Read more · 2
was fast and easy to connect and the 12m hose was asy to run off the reel. The power cord had a nifty mount on the side. A good design. A selection of nozzles were provided to use but I chose the adjustable spray nozzle. This allows you to easily control the pressure. It provided a good amount of power to clean grime of a path that had been there for many years. The wand was light and easy to use and the 360 degree swivel head was an added bonus. I didn't try the patio cleaner or soap dispenser so won't comment on these. The unit is on the heavy side but with a second handle at the bottom, it is easy to pick-up to move if the extendable handle and wheels don't suit the terrain. The following day I used it on an epoxy covered exterior floor and being able to easily adjust the pressure made it a dream to use. So much user friendly than the petrol washer I previously had and it was also much much quieter. A very quiet machine. However, halfway through this process the machine stopped. I checked all the fittings and water supply, turned it off and changed the power point but after a number of attempts turning it on, it was reboxed and disappointingly returned to Bunnings. They were out of stock in 99% of stores across Qld so a full refund was provided. It does come with a 7 year warranty which is some of the reason I opted for the Gerni 7300 but I was hoping that it would last longer than two days. I was impressed with the unit when it was working so maybe I'll try another one if Bunnings ever get them back in stock?
The Patio Head Cleaner is a Dud – Purchased in Sept 2022, from Bunnings, this top of the line Gernie HP Water Cleaner. The HP unit itself carries a 7 year guarantee which is comforting considering you only use it a couple of times a year. Good pressure for cleaning around home, pool etc with the adjustable wand. Included in the price was a large Patio Head Cleaner, with adjustable… Read more
pressure dial, which was a factor in the purchase. Our home has a largish ( 45sqm ) painted decked patio area which requires a couple of cleans a year to keep on top of. Used it ok since purchase. Probably 4 or 5 times in just over 2 years. Went to use again late November and to my surprise there was more water coming out of the top of the unit than the brush bit underneath. In short pretty useless. Looked up paperwork which confirmed only a 2 year warranty for the Patio Cleaner as an "accessory". Went to Bunnings site, replacement cost for the Patio Cleaner bit $110. I was shocked. For something used even 5 times over 2 and a bit years is ridiculous. So beware, if you just want a HP cleaner for walls, pool surrounds, paving etc pretty good but don't expect to get much use or value out of the Patio Head Cleaner. Dud.
Nice buy – Great lite pressure washer ideal for small jobs around the home. Easily gets rid of stains and moss from the patio Show details
A great all rounder for the home owner – I bought this pressure washer a few months back to replace a Karcher. This pressure washer is much quieter in operation than the Karcher. Granted it was more expensive but it comes with a whole array of attachments as standard. The only extra I had to buy for it was a connector for my Bowdens snow foam cannon. It has a maximum pressure of 2320psi… Read more
with a flow rate of 8.3L/min. It's not a professional pressure washer but for the home owner it's very versatile. It comes with three nozzles variable, jet and auto. The variable for general cleaning, the jet for removing ingrained dirt (it has a ball bear within the nozzle) and the auto jet for cars, motorbikes and bicycles. There's a foam sprayer included but it's nozzle it not adjustable. An optional extra from Gerni is a foam sprayer with an adjustable nozzle but you can't adjust the detergent/water mixture. Only an dedicated foam cannon can do that. There's an auto brush which I wouldn't recommend for cars but that's good for house windows. There's also a flat surface cleaning attachment to use on decking, concrete paths and driveways and as my house is cladded I use it on that too. It has to types of nozzles standard and hammer for getting off ingrained dirt. The pressure washer comes with a built in hose reel which holds 12m of reinforced hose so it won't kink. The motor is aluminium and can be run dry with the water turned off for this is necessary to clear the steel reinforced hose of water when you've finished using it. There's also a inlet water filter which is easy to take out, clean and replace. There's a little pin attachment to clean the jet nozzle if the ball bearing jams and there's a special place on the pressure washer to store that pin attachment so you don't lose it. The trigger lance and extension pieces are made from high quality plastic and fit together very easily The pressure washer come with wheels and an adjustable handle. Extra lengths of extension pieces can also bought. Two things it doesn't have are an internal detergent tank or suction hose. But as some detergents can degrade the inner workings of pressure washers perhaps this is a good idea for longevity of the pressure washer. It also can't be used from potable water sources. It's a mains pressure machine only. The pressure washer comes with a 5 years warranty and if you register your machine online with Gerni then you get another 2 years on the warranty to extend it to a 7 year warranty. I've found that using the flat surface cleaner on driveways and paths to be very good and using it on the cladding it cuts down the amount of time it takes to clean the cladding. Using my Bowdens snow foam cannon for washing the cars also works very well with a good thick amount of foam being layered on the cars. The power of this machine is great but only use the jet nozzle on surfaces you won't damage such is the amount of pressured water that the jet nozzle delivers. All the attachment are extremely well made from hard plastic. My brother's place has concrete and paver paths that hadn't been cleaned for over 30 years and using the Hammer Head nozzles on the surface cleaner it brought those pathways up like new removing dirt and mold and I didn't pre-soak them in a detergent before hand. I would have no hesitation in recommending this pressure washer to anyone.
Gerni 7300 What a dream to use – My first Gerni was a Crown series which I first purchased (20 years of faithful service) back in 2003, I mainly used it on job sites as a Building Contractor and the only reason I have the 7300 was the old Gerni Crown hose could not be replaced and parts availability was non-existent so my daughter purchased the new Gernie 7300. for me as a… Read more
surprise gift. What a dream to use, it has a lot more pressure and included all the accessories that you could probably require, had a minor hiccup at the start but after a call to Gernie it was quickly soon fixed but if I had any problems down the track just give it to Bunnings and they would send it away for service. My other family members have had the Karcher, Nilfisk and other brands but they all have the Gerni Pressure washers and haven’t looked back, but we are not pedantic like the other people who have left rubbish reviews about the Gerni products. I have purchased my Gerni from Bunnings on October 2021 so it has been owned and used long enough to find out if it is rubbish or not. The warranty expires in 2028 after registering on-line, how many others have a warranty similar, not many.
Absolute rubbish – More pressure in my garden hose, absolute joke. Highly not recommended. Beyond dissapointed. Do yourself a favour, save your money. Show details
Very poor warranty process for this top of line Gerni pressure washer – I previously owned cheap Ryobi pressure washers, and if it had a problem with it, the store where I purchased immediately swapped it and gave me a new one. I invested in this top of line Gerni last year and I had a minor problem with it. The store did't allow me to swap it it had to send it in for repair (standard Gerni warranty process they… Read more
said, not the store's decision). I have now already been 1.5 months+ without a pressure washer and no confirmation when I will receive it back repaired. Stick with mid tier pressure washers of other brands which have much better warranty arrangement.
Giving the machine a good work out, very satisfied at present – Very satisfied with the preasure out put. It is cleaning my pebblecrete and concrete driveways very well. I find for large flat surfaces the patio cleaner does an excellent job, better and faster than using the jet nozzle. The provided stronger jets with the patio cleaner work very well on the pebblecrete which hasn't been cleaned for 12 years.… Read more
Working the machine for 35 minutes and resting for 35 minutes is not really an inconvenience. The instructions say to use the side storage to hold the gun and lance, however, if you place the gun with the lance attached the lance will rest on the wheel, so I use the patio cleaner holder instead. Gerni need to fit a stopper low on the machine to prevent contact with the wheel. The price at $739 is a bit steep, however, very satisfied with my purchase. The extended 7 year warranty was a bit of an enticer. My next purchase will be the 15 mtr tube and drain cleaner.
No customer service – No contact details other than phone number which the recorded message says they are busy and disconnects. No email address. Wonder how hard it is if something goes wrong Trying to buy the 7300 but seems Bunnings is exclusive and the link on the site says oops! etc Show details
A real powerhouse.....very impressive – I've had decent experience with electric pressure washers the last 4 years, have written the review for the Stihl RE129 and the Michelin mpx160, both of which were excellent. Ok to start of, Gerni is the same as Stihl and Nilfisk, this Gerni 7300 sounds the same as the Stihl RE129 that I reviewed 4 years ago, the difference is that this Gerni has… Read more
more power, 2320 PSI Max or 145bar operating pressure compared to the Stihl at 135 bar, and you can hear and see the difference in power. Though the Michelin that I tested had more flow it had less pressure at 130bar, this Gerni is the most powerful electric I've ever tested. And it's fairly quiet too, alot less noisy than my Michelin MPX160.
As far as I'm aware this Gerni is the 2nd most powerful electric on the Aussie market at 240v behind the Karcher Professional 5/15, which is 4 times the cost. This Gerni has 6.8L per minute rated frow which is pretty good, but the standout is the pressure available, and for $649 it's a winner.
I just washed the car and the back yard concrete with this Gerni and it's a blast, excellent cleaning performance, and due to the power, you clean concrete quickly.
145bar is very powerful on the Jet blaster attachment, the one that looks like a tornado, there is also a varible jet spray attachment if you need a little less grunt and also a wide spray attachment for car use, also comes with a foam sprayer, though I opted for the Bowdens foam cannon from Autobarn.
Has a 12m hose and the machine is fairly light at 22kg for the power. It also comes with the patio cleaner and cleaner brush for the car or boat, the patio cleaner is excellent if you need to cover large areas quickly, works well. Has an aluminium pump, and if you take care of it should last a long time, bunnings gives 5 years warranty plus extra 2 years.
Final Conclusion: This is the best value elite electric pressure washer on the aussie market, for $649 you get 145 bar of cleaning power which is immense, if you have dirty large backyards with stubborn dirt this is the machine for you, and with the 7 years warranty you get peace of mind.
