Really Disappointing - Patio Brush is useless – Bought a couple of years ago and to be fair it worked quite well for most of that time. I purchased due to the spinny pad accessory thingy for cleaning pavers. The pad attachment does nothing other than remove light surface dirt. In other words, it's all but useless and is nothing more than a gimmick. As for the unit itself, it has had very light use in the time I've had it and has now decided to pack up (partially anyway). The motor keeps running and stopping every 3 or 4 seconds as if it can't reach the desired pressure then stop as it should. Its as if there is a major leak. I believe a seal has given way inside the machine. I'm sure its an easy fix, however all the repairers in Victoria appear to be in regional towns.

Perhaps my expectations of a cheap PW were a bit high but 2 years of very infrequent use is not acceptable, unless purchased for $50.

I will be buying a new PW soon, but it certainly won't be a GERNI.

better than expected – I've had one high pressure washer and hired a few over the years so I was pleasantly surprised at the performance of this unit. The patio attachment really works and has cleaned the mould, or most of it anyway, off the pavers around the concreted verandahs. It seems to be higher pressure than previous models I have used which means it works exceptionally well as a broom or rake to get the leaves off the grass and push them into the "garden" bed for mulch - this also waters the grass.

My primary aim was to use it for car washing and it does well at that, especially with the car nozzle for getting up under guards.

Overall, a good gadget was under $200, assembles easily (in spite of the directions), much lighter than previous washers the instructions were very basic, eg it came with 2 nozzles but these weren't mentioned(even on the website) so I was trial and eroor to work out which one did what. As others have mentioned, the hose for the gun could be longer

Performs under pressure! – My wife and I went to Bunnings to look for a cleaner and settled on this one as it had the patio attachment and a couple of extra nozzles. For the price this is an excellent high pressure cleaner. Admittedly I have not owned a high pressure cleaner before so have nothing to compare it to, however it does everything I hoped it would. Basically we brought it to clean our bird cage and veranda which it does with ease. We also decided to try out the patio attachment on the driveway and it has come up like new. There were a couple of spots that had to be gone over with the nozzle, but otherwise it was awesome! The house it 35 years old and I am pretty sure the drive hadn't been cleaned in 35 years, but came up looking new.

I am sure the higher priced cleaners do a better job as they are higher pressure, but for the price you can't go wrong. Extra attachments, price Cord could be a little longer, however if it was too long I would probably complain about that!

Everything I need, almost – Bought 120.4 PCAD from Bunnings for $249. I think this is the upgraded version of 120.2 PAD. Perhaps not as strong as Karcher or petrol powered ones. But it does its job. I bought it to wash my 4WD car using magifoam & snow foam lance. So easy to wash a car, don't have to climb up to clean the roof. Just spray, let it sit, and rinse off. While waiting for the foam to sit, I used the patio cleaner on the drive way, cleared out all the algae with ease.

Then I used the tornado nozzle to clean the shower tiles. Clean out surface mould with easy, no need for scrubbing and harsh chemical.

Then I used it to hose down the garage, done in less than 5 minutes with the high pressure water Make a lot of tasks convenient, save time and energy. Have all the main attachments at very reasonable price. I can adjust the nozzle so the pressure is not too high when I'm rinsing the car, so I don't have to worry it will damage the paint. But I can adjust the nozzle to give high pressure, when I need to do other cleaning works. Hose is only 6m. Need to get an expandit 10m extension, after I save up some money. Sick of dragging the machine to do each sides of the car

All round performer – I have only used it once but it did everything I ask of it. Connection and assembly of hoses and the high pressure wand and click and clean fittings was not difficult and Gerni have made these so it is almost impossible to put them in the wrong place, but you did need to make sure the key on the fan nozzle and other fittings lined up with the slot on the wand.

After setting up, I tried each of the nozzles, preferring the fan to quickly clean three steps. Next was a section of concrete drive. I really wanted to test the patio cleaner. With practice I found it was necessary to keep it a few mm off the ground and move slowly or streaks would be missed needing to go over again. A small strip was missed next to the wall but that was easily cleaned up with a nozzle.

Next test was a 23 year old car, that is parked outside and probably has not had a wash for the best part of a year. At first I thought it would take one of the nozzles to clean, but instead used the brush to do most of the car and only used the nozzle on some bits that the brush did not remove. While it cleaned the car the plastic wand and brush felt as if they were flexing.

Foam sprayer and drain cleaner not tested.

Look forward to my next use. Easy to set up and use Wand felt soft when using brush on car.

Since writing the review, I have had to use the drain cleaner. I had a blocked down pipe that I was not able to clear using a garden hose or a short piece of wire. By using the Gerni and its drain cleaner I was able to clear the blockage. The (15 metre) drain cleaner attaches to the wand requiring you to hold the handle to turn the water on. This made it difficult to also feed the drain cleaner into the down pipe at the same time while I was also standing on a ladder. Despite this draw back the flexible tubing was able to get in the pipe and follow the bends down to the blockage and clear it - something I had not been able to do with a garden hose.
