Imagine my surprise! – 2 days ago I walked into the Glenorchy tip recovery shop and right at the entrance was a Giant Boulder 1. I walked past then turned around and went back for a better look. I already have a couple of bikes and wasn’t looking for another to add to the collection gathering dust. $150 snd in very good condition. All that seemed amiss was 2 flat tyres.… Read more

Absolutely awful seat design. Needless to say it was an opportunity not to be missed and I ended up buying the bike. Now I will work out if I keep the giant Boulder or my old Shogun Prairie Breaker with hydraulic disc brakes. Reading reviews on the Boulder, it seems like a decent bike

Harden up princess – The seat hurts .... Really. I ride about 50 to 70 Ks on the weekends and can't fault it the Boulder giant 1 bike. Road a Scott on a demo at the "tour down under" a very nice bike went a lot faster than the Boulder but I like the flexibility of the Boulder in bike tracks. No malice here just a opinion.

Good one – It is wonderful bike. Tried first time but satisfied to the core. Even uphill is not so hard work. Ride is smooth n confortable. I was concered n skeptical in spending bugs for it. But it is worth trust me.fairly strong frame gears are smooth . Easy to meanovure. Quite impressive

better components and speced bikes available for the price – I purchased one of these Giant bikes but regret it now. I have since bought other bikes for family members and for a similar price, they have much better components with almost identical frames. All in all, Giants are overpriced for what they offer.

perfect for casual rides or for weekend dirt tracks – After an extensive research I finally ended up buying Giant Boulder 1. This bike features a cable disc brakes on both front and rear wheels with all Shimano components. This bike is very light and well built and I would definitely recommend Abc Bikes Fairfield, They had the complete bike assembled and delivered to me free of cost. ( Even though… Read more ·  1

they did not have the colour I asked for in their store). Since the purchase about a month ago I have clocked more than 160kms on this and use it to ride to work every day. I can hardly fault it. It feels at ease when riding on the asphalt or the terrible footpaths/driveways of fairfield. I would definitely recommend Giant Boulder 1 light, strong, quality components and fun to ride none so far
