Bought this in 2022 and added the “off-road” kit shortly after. As someone who rides clipped in and owns 7 other bikes (all non e-bikes such as hardtail MTBs: Giant, Trek, Mongoose, dual suspension Jamis MTB, Trek FX hybrid, and a couple of spare Boardman carbon road bikes), the Prague was really just a trial, back in 2022, to see if e-bikes were… Read more

for me before moving into a mid-drive setup. Four years later, it’s still going strong. And not even going into mid-drive setup yet due to price is still.... expensive. I’ve taken it through gravel trails, rocky paths, smooth bike paths, and even beaches. Honestly, I’ve grown to really like how smooth it feels, even with the rear hub motor. It may not feel as natural as a mid-drive, but it works well for me. The brakes aren’t hydraulic, but they do the job. I’ve had to tweak them a few time, though to be fair, I do ride it pretty hard. Because I ride clipped in and mostly use the lowest assist setting, I’ve managed to stretch the range up to 120 km a few times (well above the claimed 70 km). Battery health has also held up nicely over 4 years. I’ve been careful to avoid overcharging and try to keep it discharged when possible. The off-road kit with the thumb throttle is a great bonus, especially when you’re done for the day and just want to get home quickly. It cuts off at 32 km/h, and that drops a bit once the battery dips below half. The only real issue I had was some missing bolts from the rear disc rotor early on, likely not torqued properly during assembly. Easy fix at a local bike shop after about 3,000 km. It is a heavy bike, though. Transporting it on a towball rack can be hit or miss, so I usually take one of my non e-bikes if I’m heading further out. Also, downhill trails are not its strong point—the rear feels very heavy, and I’d rather not risk damaging the hub. Now nearing 7,000 km. I’ve replaced brake pads and tyres once. It gets rotated with my other bikes, mainly my Boardman road bike and Giant Fathom hardtail. Wishlist? Definitely a better front suspension. The Suntour XCT is pretty basic. I barely notice any difference between settings. Feels more like a rigid fork at times to be honest. Considering an upgrade, so open to suggestions if anyone has tried aftermarket options.

Freewheel issue after very little use – I purchased 2 of these bikes - 1 in December 2021 (for my wife) & another in February 2022 (for me). Overall the bikes have been pretty good & we have enjoyed 6 or so rides together, however on our last outing I noticed a crunching noise coming from the rear hub on my bike. I contacted e-move bikes (where I purchased it) & they said that it sounds… Read more

like it's probably an issue with the freewheel / cassette, however even though the electronics are covered by a 1 year warranty & the frame by a 2 year warranty, all the other parts are only covered by a 6 month warranty - so I will have to pay to have it fixed.

I think this is pretty bad considering the bike has only done a total of 95 km in the 9 months I've had it. Also I don't believe the claim that "it's worse for the bike not to use it than to use it a lot". If the freewheel mechanism was properly lubricated at manufacture, it shouldn't be an issue if the bike sits for extended periods. The bike has never been ridden in the rain, submerged in water or even washed with a hose. Everything else on the bike is working fine.

Pretty disappointing.

Great robust E Bike – Bought for $1,000 to assist with recovery after knee replacement surgery as the static exercise bike compounds the Covid boredom. Came with a padded seat as the standard one is narrow and hard apparently. Fantastic bike, flattens the hills and easy to use. I can get as much exercise as I feel the knee needs. Show details

Great Bike Great Price – Have purchased two of these bikes and we are extremely pleased with them. The quality is second to none. They are a new product in Australia and I cannot recommend them highly enough. I went on a 24 km ride up and down a few hills and only used a 1/4 of battery. Show details

My son just loves this bike!! – I needed to buy a bike for my son to go to school and ending up purchasing an electric one as my son's school is about 3km from home and I wanted something that was reliable and would go the distance easily. I was certainly not disappointing. Delivery time was only a few days as I live in Melbourne. Assembly was quite straight forward about 10-15… Read more

mins.

The bike has really good build quality and feels solid. The battery lasts so far more than 2 weeks without needed to charge. My son really likes it so much that he keeps asking if we need anything at the local shops to buy and volunteers to go with his bike.
