Use cases: light university work and gaming. As my first gaming laptop, I have positive impressions. This particular model was one of the thinnest and lightest RTX 5070 laptops I found while browsing in-store. Thermals are decent, and fans don't go overboard whilst gaming, which is a major plus. While doing light note-taking, the fans are silent, which is a nice touch. Battery life was my main concern for choosing a laptop for uni. With battery-saver mode switched on, and it gets me through the uni day, no issues at all (5-6 hours). Gaming-wise, you can expect 1-2 hours depending on the title, which is decent enough for me. Port selection is decent, though only one USB-C (USB4) port on my model. I ended up purchasing a smaller 120W USB-C brick to charge the laptop while at university and leave the original power brick at home. Speakers are okay for the price. The build quality is quite sturdy.
