Have the people that make the Goliath glad wrap ever used it .Most useless product I’ve ever used.Doesn’t cling to anything ,doesn’t roll out .Just threw out half a roll because it gets jammed on itself .Why I do a review is so people don’t waste money on inferior products like this one .Do testing on your products .Budget trash that’s all it is .
I am disappointed to see that Glad Wrap Tangle Proof has been discontinued. I understand that people feel it doesn't stick as well. However, I have experienced no problems at all, and find the product more manageable. It also adheres to my dishes and sticks when wrapping it on itself. I would love to see this product back on the market. Show details

We use the plastic food wrap a lot.We had been using the cheaper Aldi brand in 300 metres pack but have not been able to find one available for some time so we got the Glad Wrap brand 150 m pack. The actual plactic film is ok but my g God the… Read more
packaging box is so cheap thin and nasty! It is falling apart and we havent used much of the film yet.The slide cutter does not work and the serrated cutter is useless as the box is so weak.I tried to see where it was made but could not find anything on the box. Never will buy this product again. We managed to get one from another overseas supermaket chain with a strong and sturdy box and everything works fine. Its like this if the walls of your house is weak than no matter how strong the window fitting and security screen is ,it will fall apart with force applied. Unfortunately I dont have the receipt anymore.
Follow-up · It is very hard to tear off even the slide cutter struggles. It clings ok and thickness is on the higher side I think.I think it would be ok if the box was stronger and cutter design was inproved.

Splits in long tears when used in microwave. A small bowl of rice in microwave for 1.45min and get a big hole. Poor quality import. See pic Show details
What has happened to glad wrap!! Used to be great, the last few I have bought the cutting strip has come off, so frustrating !!! Show details
Falling apart – Used to be the best , now it falls apart . 3 boxes in a row. To thin and tear strip all fall off . Show details
What a terrible product – Tangle proof???? This glad wrap is worse than when they changed the cutter position. Too hard to unroll it. Doesn't stick to anything even what it's supposed to. What a waste of money.
Glad not to use it anymore – Expensive wrap just tears in the middle on the roll, the last 3 rolls I kept thinking bad batch but no. It seems too thin and each sheet is really stuck to the other Show details

Cardboard package is so flimsy any attempt to keep cutter in contact with wrap as you attempt to tear it is useless. Cutter bends and breaks frequently. Last time this happened I cut my knuckle on it badly, it's dangerous. I'm not buying Gladwrap anymore until these cost cutting backward developments have been reversed.
Glad Wrap was once the very best - but now? Cutting these plastic wraps is a major thing with me, and Glad ONCE tore off beautifully. Pull it, press down and off it came, ready to use. But overnight they changed, putting the cutting edge on the lid - and bye bye easy tear-offs. Now you had to pull up, but the way you were holding it didn't lend… Read more
itself to this. Then, pulling up moved the lid up, especially at the ends, meaning it stopped tearing and tangled itself. Complaints to Glad resulted in being told the entire world agreed with them and I was alone in complaining. When you saw dozen of others complaining online, they said an expert panel tried the new way and thought we were wrong. So shut up. They wouldn't concede the new way was worse. Well, I'm nearly at the end of this damn roll and will be buying anything except Glad Wrap so long as the cutting edge is on the box. They had it so right, but squandered their popularity for a whim.
I gave one star because it wouldn't let me write a review unless I rated this rubbish product. Doesn't stick to anything. I wish I kept the receipt because I would definitely take this product back. Don't buy it. EDIT: I ended up phoning Glad's Customer Service line and they were very nice and sent me a $5 Coles gift card. So kudos to Glad for taking the feedback on board.
Glad has taken the cling out of their wrap – Used to be the best cling film you could get. It does it not cling or wrap in fact cheaper no-name brands work just the same if not better.

Pathetically disappointing – This product used to be high quality - now it clings to itself, tears, entangles and basically is completely unusable Quality control - where did it go? Show details
FRUSTRATING PRODUCT – What happened to this product? It had a piece of starter tape for years and for some unknown reason, now it doesn't. WHY.....Can't use it....just sticks. Won't buy again. I've thrown out 2!!!!!! Show details
Gladwrap Clingfilm – Have been buying this for years as opposed to cheap brands, but quality has changed - thin and cheap and doesn’t stick. Obviously cost cutting measure, but the price hasn’t decreased. Will not buy again. Don’t waste your money on this brand. Multix was a good brand but haven’t been able to buy it anywhere. Will try try cheaper home brands for far less cost which will probably be equivalent to the current thin Gladwrap. Show details
Tangle Proof Glad Wrap is good – We liked Tangle Proof Glad Wrap as it is much easier to use than the regular wrap. Although it doesn't cling as well it behaves a whole lot better when trying to use it. So it is disappointing to hear that it is being discontinued. We wish we had bought a number of rolls when it was on the shelves. Please bring it back! Show details
Negative – Tangle proof glad wrap states wrap and re- wrap . You can't even wrap something with it the first time round, just does not cling . Terrible worthless product l will never buy it again .
not so hoodwinked – Recently bought a box of plant based cling wrap, only to find that the width of the box and product seem to have shrunk by a couple of cms. Pretty sure it used to be 33cm wide but now it's only 30cm. So like most products these days, we're paying the same price or more for less product. No surprises there... Manufacturers seem to think they can hoodwink consumers with their sneaky tricks! Show details
Should be called UNCling – What a ridiculous product this is. It may be "tangle proof" but it doesn't stick to any thing. Not even a tomato. Which I would like to throw at the 'genius" gave this the go-ahead to put into stores so that consumers can waste their hard-earned $$. Dump it! Show details
Frustrating experience with a previous trustworthy product – I have used this product for many years, and am very disappointed with my last purchase, doesn’t unravel equally, leading to only a small portion available to cover the second half of the food I made to last 2 nights and refrigerate for the second. Infuriating.
Sad not Glad – Purchase glad wrap tangle proof, by accident but figured it should be great if it does what it says. Well yes it did, but they did not tell it wont't stick to anything at all. Never again. Sorry didn't get a receipt from the store. Show details

Yes another tangle proof glad wrap complaint – Had a great product, then decided to make it thinner to save a few bucks I presume. So then it wouldn't unroll off the dispenser without tearing and instead of going back to the old formula, came up with a wrap that not only doesn't unroll from the dispenser but won't stick to anything when you eventually prise it off the roll. A case study in poor product design, implementation and testing. Show details
Tangle Proof Glad Wrap is USELESS! – Just bought Glad Wrap in my weekly shop....didn't realise it was Tangle Proof / Wrap & Re-Wrap.....it may not tangle, BUT DOES NOT STICK..... SO USELESS AS A COVERING!....Have been using Glad Wrap for 45 YEARS!!!!!!!! WILL NOW BUY ANOTHER BRAND! Glad Wrap team remember when you changed the position of the metal edge on the box and it didn't work? Why do you insist on trying to fix things that are not broken????? Show details
As a food wrap - not fit for purpose – What a waste of money. The "guaranteed not to tangle" claim works really well. Won't tangle, but won't do anything else either. Does not stick to anything. Waste of money. I want a refund - not fit for purpose. Show details
Tangle proof wrap is useless – It doesn’t tangle because it doesn’t stick, to anything. Won’t stick to a bowl to cover food, won’t stick to food in a freezer. I can’t believe it got out of a testing lab.
Rubbish – Bought this new improved”Diamond Pattern “ gladwrap as it boasted better cling(what a joke) and doesn’t tangle…yes that bits right it doesn’t tangle because it does not cling….to anything…useless rubbish…would give a zero rating if I could… should rename this to “No cling at all wrap” Show details
Total waste of money! – No cling at all. I find it hard to believe a product I would have endorsed is now total rubbish. Don't waste your money even trying it as you will be disappointed. Show details
Tangle proof glad wrap does not work – This product is unworthy poor to use not worth buying. Purchased the item on the false claims it Won’t tangle and will stick better. This product not only has been downsized in width over the old product (Now Won’t cover plates in one run so needs a second one to waste product) but does not cling to plates or bowls. How the glad brand can be used… Read more
on such a terrible product I don’t know but all I can to is to suggest don’t bother buying it based on the claim of what it should do.
Not a cling wrap – No star, the glad wrap is nothing but a thin plastic film. Doesn’t cling to anything. I want a refund. Show details
