Glitz Shower Cleaner

Thoroughly recommend it – Over the years I have tried many ways to make shower cleaning easy only to be disappointed. Glitz however does all it promises . I use it every day and now cant live without it. I enjoy the fresh aroma it has too. Show details

Prodct works as stated – I am on tank water with a septic system, being a rural area. Previously I'd blast the shower regularly with bleach-based cleaners, or even straight bleach which, while working, is no longer an option, as it destroys the septic microbes and the run-off kills the grass. But the supermarkets stopped selling them, and the replacement was useless.

Then came across this in Bunnings. Smells the same as the original daily shower cleaner I used, so thought to give it a go.

The trigger pumps are annoying, and tend to fail on most products eventually if using refills, so I bought a Nylex pump sprayer in the Bunnings garden section, that provides a continual mist with minimal effort. Then bought the 2L Glitz bottles from Bunnings. Use every 2-3 days, and no more build up or mold, and I only spray areas that get hit with soap or water when using shower. Daily for regular use is a little overkill. But won't CLEAN your shower...just maintain it clean, so scrub the thing clean first, use it daily for a few days to build up on surface, then cut back to every few days.

As someone else stated, it can be a little streaky, but for the fact it works so well, I can more than live with that. Since using it, no more mold, no slimy or calcified residue, and I'm all for minimal effort in the shower for cleaning.

If you don't mind a bit of glass streaking, I'd strongly recommend this product too.

Made my life easy – Being a busy I dont ger much time for cleaning, I was looking for a right product to do a quick job, then I find Glitz shower cleaner , it's so amazing and made my life easy

Cleans very well, DO NOT USE IF ASTHMATIC – This product cleans well. There are some streaks on the glass. However I am asthmatic and it give me an attack. Only use and thsn u need to leave the house, the fumes are awful.

Great the best I've used – I love these products so so much can't wait to try the one my local Bunnings does not have. I have never used a product like this that really works and no harsh smells

Not as good as Windex shower – Does a reasonable job without scrubbing or rinsing. There is some visible streaks left on the glas though. Not as good as Windex shower

magical – We have tried all sorts of methods for cleaning to limit the level of scrubbing required when cleaning shower recesses. once a week as it does such a tremendous job. NO scrubbing. Just a good spray, leave it on, then a good rinse off. It can only be described as magical. We love it but it is difficult to purchase where we live unfortunately. We ran out a while back and our local Bunnings is not selling this particular one anymore. Must have collared the market and the competition complained thatb their products weren't being sold. Who knows. Can't wait to get another couple of litres of it. We like the fact that we can buy it in bigger containers and refill our spray bottle. It is extremely reliable and efficient and leaves a nice acceptable odour that permeates down our hallway. The bathroom always smells fresh. It is difficult for us to find a reliable supplier close to home.
