Oxo Good Grips Pop Containers

I am really unimpressed with this range, they are not airtight and my goods are going stale within weeks. For the price they are charging I would expect a high quality product. Don't buy them! Show details
Easily scratch – I really wanted to love these containers, however, they scratched upon their first wash. I handwashed to ensure the utmost care with a 'general purpose' sponge and the entire containers were so scratched and cloudy as soon as they dried. This has never happened with cheaper plastic containers. I reached out to OXO due to their product guarantee… Read more
and was rejected for any replacement. Very disappointing given the high price point. I can imagine that nuts, or anything slightly abrasive would completely ruin these. Will not purchase again.
Bad product – I gave it a two because I have a few containers. The others seem good. This one the lid keeps coming off no matter what I have done! I called customer service and she told me that they are not air tight which I didn't know, but she couldn't give me any ideas about this one container. I am very disappointed in this product and after paying a lot of money for these, I will never buy another one! Show details
Very disapointed – I spent AUD$650 on the OXO pop containers to help me with my osteoarthritis. They are easy to open and close and really helps my hands. Downside, they are not airtight. I only use them for dry goods and nothing stays fresh. Biscuits are soft after one day in the container. Cereal sticks together into lumps. Nothing I have stored in them has stayed… Read more
fresh. Very sorry I spent a lot of money on them. Have to revert back to my older tubs which are airtight but hurt my hands to open and close.
A waste of money – What a waste of money! Wish I had read the reviews before I brought them. Not air tight at all. Don't waste your money Show details
Very disappointed – We replaced all our Tupperware pantry storage with the OXO containers as they had good reviews. These are not airtight as they claim. Very disappointed. It would appear the older style containers were better but they changed design. Show details
Oxo Pop Containers a cut above the rest – So happy with my products from Oxo. Storage space solved with Oxo's square and rectangle design. Pop tops are easy to use and fit perfectly together. So many options that I find more and more useful as I redo my pantry. Now buying sets as gifts for lucky friends Show details
Not airtight! – These are terrible for storing pantry goods. Do not buy if you need them to be airtight. I feel conned! The lids will slide off if you pick the container up by the lid, there’s no suction. They look pretty but that’s about it. Show details
Terrible containers. They crack in hot weather and should not be sold in Australia – Very expensive and not worth one quarter of what they cost. You would be better off using old glass jars and ice cream containers. Show details
Dishwasher safe, but full of water – First wash in dishwasher, lids end up full of water with no way to remove other than to try shaking it out. Hygienic? Definitely NOT Show details
Put Simply: Oxo Good Grips Containers are NOT Airtight – We have had multiples of two sizes of Oxo Good Grips for more than 2 years. Consistently we have seen infestation of pantry moths in these containers. The first couple of times we gave Oxo the benefit of the doubt that perhaps the moths were already in the goods. But No. We have proven with bubble testing that these containers are NOT airtight and… Read more
consequently subject to panty months infestation. Finally (October 2022) decided to throw them all out and replace with US manufactured Rubbermaid. Definitely NOT RECOMMENDED.
Do Not Purchase! – The Oxo Good Grips POP Containers turn snacks and cereal stale within 6 weeks. Terrible product for the price!
Oxo good grips plastic containers – I bought the Oxo 9 pcs container set. Some lids didn't have suctions so wasn't airtight. I immediately reached out to customer to get replacement lids so that I can use the containers. Customer service was terrible, sending you here and there and finally got to the right person, said she will send the replacement but in the end I didn't get… Read more
anything.
I reached out in December 2021. Emailed back and forth for 3 months, March told me it was sent out and that I will receive in 4 to 6 weeks (April/May 2022). It is now August 2022 and I still don't have anything.
The worst customer service!!!!!!!
If you buy just don't expect any warranty and if broken or dysfunctional just treat it like a lost then you will not have to waste your time with them as in the end you will not get any replacement.
Poor quality and poor customer services!!!!!
Not worth the price if suction lids don't work and they don't care to honor their warranty promises.

Should be ZERO Stars! – This brand has deteriorated. Not made like they used to. Kids are worthless. Got bugs in all my dry goods. Waste of good money. Going back to old school mason jars. Don’t waste your money! Show details
Zero stars – POP 2.0 All my dry goods have gone stale in these ridiculously expensive containers. Lolly snakes melting, mints gone soft, milk powder gone hard and the list goes on. They are NOT airtight. Complete waste of $781.75 Show details
oxy cereal container – Oxy cereal container does not keep cereal fresh. Oxy cereal container does not seal at pivot point. Other containers seem ok. Do not buy this product, expensive and a waste of money. Show details
Not like the original OXO good grips – I used to have the OXO good grips at my parents which were great (the pop mechanism was a curved square rather than the circle on the latest OXO 2.0). These disappeared off the shelves when the bed 2.0 version came out. I bought over $2k worth of them thinking they’d be better than their predecessor. OXO 2.0 lids pop off on their own simply by… Read more
being stacked beside another container. Totally inconvenient and has destroyed OXOs reputation for me. Regret the money I paid for these. I wrote an email to OXO to ask them to revise their lids (make them more tight so they cling to the container) and suggesting they do a recall on the current lids. The worst are the 200ml size which I’m using for my herbs and spices. What a mess!!!! PLEASE OXO, take my suggestion into account.
Oxo POP Rectangle Tall, 3.5 litre container – Every since I bought this in the summer the lid comes off without having to POP it open. On 14th September I spoke to someone in Customer Service who promised a replacement lid. This has never been sent despite many emails from them after promptings by me that it will be sent with three weeks. it has the worst Customer Service I have ever come across. I shall not being buying any more of their products.
TERRIBLE ! These containers are useless – Expensive product, the lids do not close tightly. Unable to store food safely. My dry foods have gone stale & I have wasted so much money on these products, that look good, but are useless. I have since bought a cheaper brand "Sistema" containters from Woolworths & it is so much better.
Terrible product – My wife bought these because they were “cute”. They are terrible! Our food goes stale and I just grabbed my rolled oats from the cabinet and the lid came un-done as easy as a shoelace and spilled everywhere! I would NOT buy these containers. Very over-priced as well. Go back to the drawing board OAX! I never write reviews but I felt it necessary this time to warn people, Do not use these containers. Show details
Good quality – Honestly I was so glad I got these containers. They look great, modern and made well! I feel like I can have food in these containers for years and they will still be fresh! love oxo !!! Show details
They Absorb too much moisture – these containers absorb too much moisture and seem to make food soggy etc. however when storing dry foods it is very beneficial and the container seals are strong so no need to worry about things falling through. Not the worst product, I would get it as long as the price is right. Show details

Nice Product – Have had these for about a year now and they are great for storing my flour, sugar, brown sugar, dry pasta and much much more. They are thick and I love the clear look. Containers are easy to clean, yet the lid takes forever to dry. The lids do pop open at times and they are not air tight. But I still love them and cont. to buy more. The only bad things about them is they are pricey. :( Show details
Great looking and ergonomic, but NOT air tight – Amongst storage containers, by far these are the best looking and best ergonomic to open / close, but they are NOT air tight. Here's my run down of pros and cons: Pros: 1. Best looking storage containers 2. Stack reasonably well 3. Easy to open/close 4. Variety of good sizes Cons: 1. Not air tight 2. Not dishwasher safe 3. Expensive 4. Breaks if dropped
Great Storage Solution for the Organiser in the family :-) – I'd originally avoided these canisters due to price but, when a local store had them at a large discount I kind of went a little crazy and bought quite a few ! I bought multiple round canisters in the 1.8, 2.8 and 4.2 litre sizes .... and several hours later our pantry is clean, organised and looks amazing !!!! We have a walk in pantry with… Read more
deep shelves so the staggered sizes and stackability are awesome when combined with a label maker - you can see the contents as described even for the large canisters up the back. The seals are airtight and the sealing "pop-top" action is easy to use. Canisters feel solid and well made.
BPA Free, easy to clean, contents visible ..... what else could you want !!!!
The rounds do not pack as efficiently as the square units but for the price I am not complaining !!! Solid, aesthetically pleasing, well designed, stackable, easy to use, good seal
Best airtight container – I was looking for a container big enough for 50 cookies that looked good on our bench and was airtight. The 2.5l square is fantastic. it has kept them fresh for going on 2 months! The pop design is great to do one handed unlike a screw lid or something with multiple locks. Highly recommend this container only downside it's a bit pricey but worth it Airtight, looks good Bit pricey
You drop it, you break it – Seemingly great, airtight, and functions well overall. I was mighty pleased for a while. But if you drop it on a hard surface, it breaks first time. We have shattered a few now and wont be buying more than these, as I would have expected a bit more toughness than that. Very disappointing. Works well, airtight and keeps biscuits etc. for ages Breaks easily when dropped, so not much advantage of having it in plastic.
Look great and airtight - great storage – Though pricier than most storage items, I love the pop tops, the look and the slim profile that holds so much - no wasted space. And they are stackable & airtight. Best of all, this is the first pasta container I've purchased that actually is tall enough to hold spaghetti - the tall one is less than half-full with a box of spaghetti in it, so I'm… Read more
guessing it can hold at least two full boxes or bags, maybe a little more. I also got the 3.8 quart size (4 liter equivalent I think). It can hold a ton of stuff but has a nice small footprint due to it's straight sides. So easy to open and to make sure it's sealed tight.
I imagine they'd be great for people with arthritis - a simple solution that looks great too.
The seals come off for washing, exposing the internal mechanism of the cover, so it's a little tricky to wash it without getting some water inside, and none of the parts are dishwasher safe except for the seal (which I'd hesitate to put through a dishwasher) but it's not the kind of thing you have to wash every day, so it's really not a big deal.
They look great out on the counter, stack nicely and take up less space in the cabinet. If they weren't so expensive I'd use them to store all my coffee, rice, pasta, cereals, sugar & other dry goods, but I think I'll buy a few at a time. Look great, so easy to open, airtight, save space in cabinet or on counter. They hold a lot in a small space. Not dishwasher safe and concerned water can get trapped in the top's mechanism. Pricey but worth it - still 5-star.
Very nice pantry storage in a variety of sizes – I bought several of these in three different sizes for pantry storage. (The picture next to this posting is of a tiny one - click on it to see some of the other sizes.) A number of people have commented on what nice looking containers they are. Being square-sided, they fit together very easily, and it's very easy to see at a glance what's in the… Read more · 1
pantry.
The vertical 0.9L ones are a good size for most crackers and the 3.2L tall ones are a good size for pasta (including spaghetti), but they require a tall shelf.
The lid has a lovely, quality feel to it. It takes a bit of attention to wash it and dry it properly, but if you're just storing crackers or pasta in the container you don't need to wash the lid often. Stylish, attractive, fit together well, nice feel, good lid. Lid needs careful washing and drying, but not often.
Airtight and seethrough! – What a change from the old Tupperware that I could not see through. Or those big old coffee jars. These containers are really great because they are clear and they have straight side AND are airtight. I have the same number of containers but I also have more room. Happy pantry. transparent, sape efficient and airtight. Expensive.
The perfect airtight container – I love these Oxo containers and only wish I had more. They look neat with the transparent glass finish, are really airtight and you can feel that with the closure system. They are really convenient to use and clean. I am very happy with my purchase. I highly recommend them. Look great, work well. A bit too expensive Show reply
