Great Gift – Amazing toy! This device allows you to take photos from places you never thought possible. Being able to attach this to a surf board or skate board is the ultimate luxury. This is a great gift for Christmas for those active people- it allows you to capture all the action without missing a thing.

Fantastic! The Perfect Birthday Present for our 18 year old son – We selected this model after researching brands available. The camera is now 6 months old and has proved to be tough, reliable and produces excellent quality stills and video. We have not experienced any problems with the waterproof case - either with fogging or leaking. Easy to mount on the bikes, motor bikes, remote control cars & helments.

Brings a new dimesion to any sport. Great underwater too! Quality of picture, ease of use, accessories available.

Not fully tested yet but I like what I see so far – I just bought it today after some pretty extensive online research. I intend to use it for scuba diving so I was encouraged to also purchase the underwater housing for it. It comes with one rounded lens underwater housing, and you can purchase an additional flat lens underwater housing. I have tried a bit of video-ing around the house with the two housings and haven't really noticed too much difference. There's still a very obvious rounding of the edges of the picture. Don't get me wrong, I'm not fundamentally opposed to video with rounded edges, but I was advised that the flat lens housing would do away with that problem- and it certainly seemed to do the trick on the advertising footage. I purchased the 'outdoor' edition because I liked the attachments it came with. Basically, no matter which of the packs you get, you receive the same camera, it's just the attachments that vary. I think the outdoor version covers just about everything you could want to stick the camera to- and if you really want the surf (board) edition, you can pick up the surf attachment pack for about $30. I would highly recommend that if you've become accustomed to being able to see your pics and videos straight away, that you also purchase the BacPac... which I didn't know about until I left the store and found it on eBay. Subsequently, I don't have one yet, but it's on the list of things to buy. I love that you can buy stacks of accessories for it and that you can do so much with such a little camera- I'm just not 100% convinced that I'm in love with it yet- however, I plan to be diving in the next couple of weeks so stay tuned. I may have to update my review.

Update: I found out that you need to change the FOV (field of view) setting to 'narrow' to get the normal camera feel. I also took it for a spin in the car- fantastic! Such excellent quality video footage. Perfect. I love it. loads of accessories- love the add-ons. Excellent quality in such a small camera and it's waterproof down to 60m... which is sufficiently deep enough for me thanks. great little camera.

Awesome Footage, great mutli use kit – I purchased the Hero2 Motorsports to take on a V8 Race car experience. I have since purchased an assortment of accessories and attachments to use it heaps of other ways... The footage is unbelievable, HD 1080p and it only took a short time to get used to their software and start editing my adventures. Only problem I have encountered is the fogging up of the waterproof case due to humidity. I Highly recommend this to anyone want to capture HD video on a budget :) Price, size, attachments and picture quality Waterproof case can fog due to humidity
