Total Hoax – I found that by reducing my food intake and exercising I flattened my stomach far faster and better than using the Total Abs product. Also, they “fail” to remind you the hidden costs. People might get lured with the prospect of spending a total of £50 or £17-18 for just three months to purchase the product; however, they “forgot” to remind us that… Read more

every month you’d have to spend further £20 for the electrode pads. Guys, your money will be better spent with a gym membership. Trust me, I joined and within a year lost 1.5 stones.

Did not work AT ALL - Dead on Delivery – Avoid this company - I bought mine at a big discount and obviously it was a dead unit they offload cheaper than the outrageous $300+ 'full' price. Firstly it is very difficult to work out how this un-weildly contraption even goes together - after figuring it out the control unit lights up but there is no current flowing at all, no matter what… Read more

setting, level or program is used. A piece of junk that is falsely advertised. Even it if did actually produce a current, given the low morals of the company that sells it - it probably does not live up to the advertising claims.

Great product – I'm 60 years old. I bought mine at a garage sale for $5 . Wow, this thing is amazing. I've now got my 6 pack back that has been hidden for 30 years and my lower back is so strong again. For $5, this has changed my shape and the way I feel. Show details

Waste of money – Save your money and put it towards gym membership instead. It certainly looks the business and the TV ads are convincing but after using it almost every day for over 12 months I have not seen any improvement. The replacement pads which are needed frequently are very expensive and now the product has stopped working. Customer services are not… Read more

interested because the product is now out of its 1 year warranty. I hope this review will help others make an informed choice.

Works just fine – I have had a very positive experience with my abs around. Batteries haven't gone flat after 50 + uses. Only now I need more electro pads. And its helping my back pain, I guess an unintended plus. I like it.

Product and customer service really bad – After all the hazzle of getting it returned, for reasons similar to listed below, I was following up on the delay with the refund. I had called and emailEd well ahead of the trial end date with multiple confirmations. But was getting changed nevertheless..on following this and complaining about it gets a short answer : "Your enquiries are accounting in nature, so I have put you in the accounts queue..." with no acknowledgment or apology.

Hopless – Not worth the price of the batteries keeps losing power and cutting out highest strength is the only one worth using then it loses power and you have to start all over again buy a cheap one off ebay

Be careful – Be careful buying from this company. Especially in regards to their "trial." They never returned my calls to have it returned and I had to go to consumer affairs. Hopeless! 21 days I spent calling them and emailing them so I could get the special code I needed to return their product. Very disorganized and focused on profit. Beware! They will waste a lot of your time. The product is OK but not worth the price.

Faulty...twice returned – Oh God I agree. First one I got didn't accept any type of battery....sent it back....then the replacement they sent kept cutting out after a minute...only worked on one program....all I felt was slight stimulation....sent that back....I've since called to cancel the order and am waiting on a call. If they charge me one red cent for this crap I'm going to Consumer Affairs!!!

It's crap! Do not buy this crap – I am wearing it right now. The side panels don't even work. Your stomach gets all this goo stuck on it from the pads which need to be replaced a lot. It costs an arm and a leg. They automatically sign you up and don't let you opt out once you trial it. I've called every day since I got it cos it doesn't even work properly and is cheaply put… Read more

together.

429.00 it's going to cost me if they don't hurry up. And return my calls.

You cannot return it unless you speak verbally to them it says on the packaging.

But they say they will get a rep to call back. They never ring it's been ages.

I've reported them to consumer affairs.

It doesn't do. You're better of getting a massaging device as it is weaker than them.

Seriously, don't buy this junk. They offer you protein powder for free, but then you have to pay 89.00 a month for it. If you can't get through to them, you're Stuck paying and locked in the contract for 12 weeks.

Joke.

no customer service – I have one on trial which I have not yet been able to use. The pads that came do not fit the belt and i have called the company twice and emailed but to no avail. I have tried to find out return info but, once again, no response

Have to change the batteries every three sessions – I recently purchased a Gum Form Abs-a-round Pro. As advised by the instructions I was cautious on the first 10 minute session and kept to Level 1, Intensity 30. It seemed to be doing something as my muscles were retracting to the electric pulses. On the 2nd 10 minute session I stayed on Level 1 but increased the intensity to 50. It… Read more

really seemed to be working and I looked forward to seeing results after a month or so, as advertised.

On the 3rd 10 minute session I increased the intensity to 70 but after just a few seconds the machine made a long beeping sound and the Front section stopped working. Using the control I cranked it back up to 50 but again it failed. This went on for a few minutes until eventually I decided to change the batteries. Once I had put fresh batteries in it was working properly again but unfortunately they too started to fail on the third 10 minute session.

From what I can gather this device draws very heavily on the AAA batteries and it seems that you can only expect your batteries to last for two to three sessions ie 20 - 30 minutes in total, which is very disappointing.

The battery compartment has to be opened using a screw driver so not only is it expensive having to replace batteries every three days but it is also time consuming.

Not sure if I have the patience to continue for the full 30 days, which is probably how they can make their 30 day money back guarantee, knowing that not many people will actually use it for 30 days.
