Haier fridge - great product – It just works! The compressor is incredibly quiet, and the switch zone is interesting. The temperature controls are easy to use, and it is amazing what 1 degree difference can do. The only downside is the size of the freezer compartment - only two (large) drawers, which means I am mainly using the switch zone as a second freezer (it has shelves that give far easier access).

Great Fridge But Very LOUD Compressor – In a rush to buy a new fridge after the old one died. We were limited in what we could have due to the height of the cavity in the kitchen. We found the Haier would fit and one was in stock. The fridge is a really nice and tidy unit, well set out and plenty of room. BUT the compressor is extremely loud. it has a real hum to it that you can hear everywhere in our single story house.. I did contact Haier and sent them a video, the reply was short and sweet. yes thats the compressor and that's standard. I personally don't believe it but what can you do! Safe to say this will not be in our house long because its driving me crazy!! Only place this would work well in would be a garage.
