Pathetic product -> Never buy – I bought a fridge from Haier and the cost of the fridge was $950. The fridge broke twice in 5 years and each time the Technician from Haier had to come after a long 4 weeks waiting period and charged me $155 for call out and $95 for labour that add up to $250 each time he visited thats like $500 to fix the problems of $950 fridge. My parents and… Read more

all used their brand of fridge for 10-15 years with no one touching the frige for maintenance such rouboust machine and this poor Haier company, the fridge broke twice in 5 years and even more they charged me more than half of the firges cost to fix it. This is absolulty rubbish and i am not boter to buy anything from this useless firm. They should find a way to either make roubust electronic goods or if they cant find a way to fix custoemrs problems cheap and fast , but these jokers failed in both. No Haier.

Bad quality and a power hog – I thought it would be a great buy with this price but I was wrong. After baying it the faults started to show up. The rubber lining is pretty cheap and would not hold the temperature after you turn off your fridge for some reason. The back side grill and the condenser will only gather really heavy fuzzy and sticky dust which you can't clean… Read more

properly, bad design. Time to time really loud noise coming from inside of the fridge .......like cracking sound. The light has blown from the fridge section after couple of years. Not happy with this product.

very happy with this purchase – Purchased this for our air b and b unit in January 2019 and it was very reasonable priced. It included free delivery and is everything we wanted in a fridge that looks smart as well as is functional. I don't find it noisy (other reviewers said was was noisy) but no issues on that front for me. I hope it just lasts a few years at least so we will have to see how that goes but so far so good Show details

Brilliant, great fridge and freezer, no probs at 1 year – Bought this side by side unit as the 2nd unit for our large household: mainly for drinks/ mixers in the fridge and back up frozen foods in the freezer to decrease the number of trips to the supermarket. Brand? Initially the Chinese brand raised unfamiliarity but on checking out reviews on product review and also with friends/family that have… Read more

previously brought the brand they seemed no worse than any other brand.

Visual? Certainly holds its own in a modern home, it looks great with a nice finish.

Layout/design? The side by side layout suited us well, as the 2 "thinner" doors can be opened in the garage with the car parked close to it. Larger single door layouts would not suit a space-confined position like ours. The only thing we found was the freezer width is a bit narrow, you can't fit in very wide items like a jumbo pizza. This however was our choice to get a narrow freezer, and nothing to do with the unit itself.

Function? Proven to be excellent at maintaining the drinks at a crisp temperature and frozen goods in their arctic condition. This is even was maintained in the heat of summer with 2 cars parked in front of it which, with they hot motors at the end of the day, raised the ambient temp in the garage to 50 degrees at times, so very good cooling indeed. The digital temperature controller is easy to use and quite advanced compared to other lower priced brands. Doors open easily, close well with a nice tight seal on closing. Overall, well designed, excellent layout + functionality and to date it has just worked brilliantly and for the price $772 at the Good Guys, we are very happy with it all round and certainly would recommend it as a main fridge/freezer or an ancilliary one.

Noisy fridge but OK for price – Fridge size is good. 650mm ish deep means it fit well into our fridge cavity. Styling of the outside is OK. Nothing too extreme that will go out of fashion quickly. Lots of storage space inside. For the price it's a good buy, however... this fridge is SO NOISY! When the motor / compressor is running, it sounds like a ceiling fan on low speed,… Read more

whirring and groaning. Would have been 4 stars if it operated quietly. 2 star review because when it's running, you can't help but notice it.

Best fridge very stylish, well priced – I brought this fridge last week, it's absolutely beautiful. It's very big with lots of compartments. I love the black inserts on the handles, saves a lot of cleaning. Freezers iceblocks super fast. I'm done with icemakers and water dispenser as they have been the first thing to go wrong on previous fridges, It's still early days as I haven't had it long, will review again in 6 months.  Show details

What a GREAT WELL DESIGNED FRIDGE – I had to get a fridge that was not too deep for my new kitchen, Haier had a very cheap priced side by side fridge freezer that fitted, smaller than I wanted. Well what a well designed fridge/freezer it is, you can see every thing clearly and not being too deep means nothing gets lost at the back, shelves are glass, the whole fridge is quality!! I can easily fit in what I had in a larger fridge/freezer. I LOVE IT !  Show details

Nice and quiet – It is a pretty good looking fridge, good size and very quiet. I love the shelves and perfect adjustable temp. The frost-free is excellent and the size it large but great for me. I can't get over how quiet it is. It is very easy to get rid of the new fridge plastic smell.  Show details

OK Fridge and Freezer. Can be noisey – It's fairly easy to clean, the fixtures are fairly strong. It can be noisey, and even more so if you put things on top of it, meaning a lot of storage space is wasted. The temperature settings are very good, but sometimes it overcools. You find this out by it making weird noises. Opening the doors and closing them it will then tell you the… Read more

actual temperature and start going back to the set temperatures.

Still better than most new fridges and freezers I've had this century.

It's perfect – It's the perfect fridge/freezer for my family I like how you can see the temperature of the fridge/freezer from the outside panel. The two vegetable compartments are awesome as we eat a lot of fresh fruit and vegetables all the compartments in the doors are great for condiments I can't fault this product at all  Show details
