Value for money – Bought it after lot of research. Main criteria was value for money. So far very good experience. No noise, no leak issues. Very large freezer. Comes with 2 years warranty + my credit card gives extra 12 months warranty. It nice outside and inside with the blue shade light. It was $300 cheaper than alternative fridge. Bought it online from Billy Guyatts with 5% online discount. Mine is without the water/ice dispenser.
Disaster, replacement new fridge broke down. Technician came took the fridge to workshop. After 1 week return, same problem. If you want peace of mind don't go near Haier or Fisher & Paykel products. You will end up on the phone for hours. Take time off from work to accommodate their technician visit and deliveries. Haier or Fisher & Paykel products are lemons!
Happyyyyy – I bought it after a lot of research for quality & prices! All fridges seemed to have some bad reviews! So I went for Haier after knowing it is part of Fisher & Paykel. Great mind blowing price and having used it for a month, loving it and the cooling is just amazing...
Water Leak – Replaced previous fridge with this particular model in Feb 2013. Had it plumbed in and was working well. Concur with the above comment on smallish freezer space but the ice/water dispenser compensates for that. Woke up to water covering kitchen floor after 10 months of fault free operation. Some searching led to a broken pivot point on the ice tray which is hidden in the depths of the ice maker and never normally sighted. Appears to have failed due to flimsy manufacture materials. Water now turned off which cancels water/ice dispensing. Off to see my supplier for warranty coverage. Keep you posted. Water/ice dispenser, appearance. Water/ice dispenser leak due to failed ice tray.
All good - replaced under warranty, although no real explanation as to why the ice tray would break or whether it is a common occurrence.....may have to keep a couple 'in stock'.
Fantastic Fridge, Slightly Noisey – Had a LG 420l top mount fridge for about 10 years with out fault and decided to uprade to a side by side with a ice and water dispenser. The fridge is fantastic, more than enough space, except for large platters, but we had a width limitation of 900mm. Bright light and 2 crispers. Nice high door bins so you can have large drink bottles on 2 shelves. The freezer is slightly small, due to the ice maker. HAs 2 bins at the bottom and a light. The control panel is easy to use, has a led light for dispensing. We have it set to "fuzzy" wich checks the ambient temperature and adjusts the internal temp. Has an open door alarm and the handles are solid stainless steel, not plastic. We havent got it connected to a water supply yet, so it is slightly noisey as it keeps trying to let water in to create ice. Happens about every hour.Comes with a water filter, but the filter isnt inside the fridge. Best of all its cheap at $1000 inc delivery from Kambos Canning Vale. Overall a fantastic fridge :-) Fits in our 900 wide recess with ice and water dispenser. Cheap Makes noises when trying to fill ice maker when not connected to a water supply. Small freezer

Disaster exactly after 12 months. Fridge started making loud noise. Logged the call. Technician came and assessed that the fridge needs replacement. 12 months fridge that can’t be fixed? How good is the design? Anyway waiting for a replacement for weeks, still there is no confirmed delivery date. I had other brand and they have never broken down! I will be careful with another purchase of Haier product! One would expect an expensive fridge to last at least 5-10 years!
