I have bought other wool quilts from other brands over the years that did shrink or the loft moved which was so annoying after spending so much money on them - I ended up donating those to the local dog rescue organisation. the 500 gsm is pretty good but could get hot if you sleep a little warm, if you want it snug and warmish without being too warm and something you could keep even in the Victorian summer then i feel like the 350 gsm could be enough for an all season type blanket. The one i bought 500/700 was definitely something my parents appreciated! It's also easy to wash if you select to buy the machine washable one which i did, just chuck it in the washing machine and you're done. Thank you Halcyon Dreams for making a product like this that many other companies do not.
