Water filled health hazard – I used the old style with my older son. Bought the new style as cant get the old ones anymore and they are awful. No suction as they are vented and they fill up with water which is difficult to remove. I worry about all the germs that are inside the teat. Sadly leaving the cherry teat behind to find a new style.

Just what I needed! – I purchase this dummy after a scare with an avent dummy. I absolutely love it and so does Bub. She has no issues keeping it in. Disappointed I didn't use these from birth. Also happy it's Australian made. Nothing but praise for this brand of dummy and would recommend it.

My son only likes the cheap ones – The nurse told us during our stay her 3 kids only liked the cheap dummies and recommended we do the same. It was so true for us. dramas. I like that they're easy to find in most supermarkets and pharmacies. They might be plain and not as "fun" as other dummies with colours and pictures on them but really, who cares? Cheap, works well, lasts a long time Not as fancy and attractive as other expensive teats

I'm so desperate for the old dummie – I'm so disappointed in this decision. My toddler won't take any other dummie. I'm forced to buy one on ebay at a price I can't afford. Honestly I don't understand the decision. And with no warning. What are parents meant to do with screaming bubs and no new dummies. Why!

Being back the original – I'm sure your sales are ok, initially. As all existing happy baby cherry soother lovers are forced to try the new ones as we lose the old ones or they need replacing. But I certainly won't be buying another packet. Please go back to the original. This new shape is rubbish!

Awful! – Please bring back the old design! The new style is absolute rubbish, the teat isn't the same, the shape of the dummy around the mouth obviously isn't comfortable, there is no hygienic cover (ew!). Why change a good thing? The original Happy Baby Dummy was iconic in shape, my son loves his so much and he's on to the last one! I really struggle to understand why you would change it when NO ONE likes the new style!

Bring back the ugly – Such a sad day when something that has worked for over 30 years is discontinued. Not only that but then replaced with another dummy that is not a "one size fits all". Bring back the old style – I agree that the new design is not working. My 2 year old literally laughed at me when I gave him one of the new style dummies (after losing all the old ones), and then he threw it away. He screamed tonight when put to bed as he wouldn't take the new dummy, and then I finally found one of the old ones. Please bring back the old design

Horrible design! Bring back original design – As everyone has already stated, what a terrible design. Teat too short. 1yr old just spits it out. Why change a great product. Would have been nice if you slowly introduced a new product instead of discontinuing the old design without notice. Not impressed, please bring back the old design!

New design is crap. Already threw them out – My kids won't take the new style and I hate the fact they fill up with water and take ages to dry out. Seems like unnecessary health risk. Won't be buying these again. Already threw mine out I just bought. . Anyone found a different brand their children have taken to after using the old style? Companies are so stupid- why not sell both styles.

Hate the new happy baby dummy shape – My baby just continually spits out the new shape, the teat is to short and the silly curve that is supposed to curve to the babies face doesn't at all. Why on earth would you change the design?! – We have tried your new design. Terrible, my son just throws it away. We are travelling soon and only have two soothers left, I'm quite anxious about the flight if we can't make one of the soothers last until the end of the trip. brought all the old stock l can find but now the only option l have is to purchase them off ebay. However some of the bids are over $100 for 1 packet of 3. This is absolutely disgraceful. Whoever changed the design should be dismissed from their role. What happened to customer satisfaction?

WHY?? WHY?? Would you change it!!! – My whole family has been using this dummy for decades and I had my first child 9 months ago, we tried every sort of dummy before trying yours and it was a total hit!!!!. New Style is Rubbish! – I have just ran out of the old style happy baby dummies, i have given my 10 month old the new style this evening and he is not impressed, its teat is too short and the sheild rubs on his face and indents his chibby cheeks. My 1 year old hates the new ones and is on her last of the old ones.. don't know what i'm going to – My daughter doesn't like the dummies with the shields like the new ones u have brought out.. that's what was so great about the old ones.. y change a perfectly good product when there are millions out there like the new ones so will get lost in amongst the others.. i am devastated, she has been using the original ones her whole life and won't take any others now i run the risk of her becoming thumb sucker.

Hate the new design – The new design is no good. I used Happy Baby old style for my 1st child amd they were the best dummy for her palate. I was lucky enough to find an old style in a shop and brought it for my newborn, now ive tried to give him the newer style and he wont take it. Totally annoyed!!! – I will not buy your products ever again until you bring back the old circle style dummy with the inflated teat. Both of my children are on the last of their older style dummies. Not sure what the hell I'm going to do when they are through as I have already wasted $25 on trying the new ones. They HATE them! Really bad – My 1 year old hates the new design - it actually pushes up against his lip causing indentation and discomfort. I have been purchasing your dummies for years - but this is a very poor design error. Did you actually do consumer testing on this product before the re-design? By the looks of all the reviews below there is a general consensus that this product is unusable. I really hope you take the mass feedback into consideration.

his chubby cheeks as well as the ability to easily put it back in his mouth (being circular there was no right or wrong way to put it in his mouth). The new design has to be put in the baby's mouth a certain way and the curved shield digs into this face. I got in contact with Happy Baby via their website and let them know my concerns and also advised them of all the negative attention the new design is receiving on forums and productreview.com.au. I was advised that the changes to the style was to achieve an improved way of securing the teat to the shield in order to avoid detachment, which has resulted in the cherry teat being shorter as more of the teat is secured inside the shield. While this makes sense from a safety point of view, for a baby used to the old design, it just means it falls out more easily and upsets them. The feedback I received didn't indicate any intention to revert back to the old design, but they did offer to send a free packet of the old dummies, as they still have a small amount of old stock left. For those desperate parents unable to find any of the old style at the shops, I encourage you to get in contact with Happy Baby and see what they can do for you.

Clearly everyone is complaining about the new style of them and wants the old style back, it looks like we will be changing to another brand of dummies which is going to be hard because I'm not having my daughter suck on a dummy that the teat has filled up with water!! Hopefully you listen to your buyers and do the right thing and change it back otherwise you will probably loose a lot of customers and money over it

TERRIBLE NEW STYLE - WHY AREN'T YOU LISTENING TO ALL OF THIS FEEDBACK, 'HAPPY BABY!' – Bring back the old style - surely this change wasn't due to danger concerns, because the original model looked safer (more breathing holes etc). I can't think of one good reason for such a change in something that has worked to well for so many people.

I have no doubt that if you supplies both styles, no one would purchase the current shape over the original.

Please bring them back

New shape not so great and no cover – My little ine is not a fan of the new shape of the shield. The previous shape allowed for breathing reducing incidence of chafing around the mouth. No cover, not sure what happy baby was thinking, I for one, and sure many like me, like to cover the dummy when not in use, whether at home or out and about. Now I will be using snaplock bag to cover it or search around for old tommee tippee covers for it. Not a fan

The new style was a good excuse to wean my child of the dummy for good! – My daughter disliked the new shape, couldn't even get her to even try it and she won't take any other brand! So perfect excuse to get her off the dummy for good, a rough few nights but we are getting there! Also FYI people are selling the old ones at a sky rocket price on eBay!
