Great sound. Poor battery life.
Great sounding speaker. After around 18 mths of regular usage battery life shortened and started displaying erratic behavior on the charging indicator lights. Contacted HK who suggested this was normal for a lithium battery and as was out of warranty. They could not offer anything other than advised to take to a third party repairer. If you look where the battery is located it requires complete disassembly as the battery is connected deep inside the unit. Asked for a recommended repairer but kept getting third party repairer response. Appears to be a common issue after reading reviews.
Purchased in November 2017.
Failed after 13 months
I purchased a Go+play in December 2017. After 13 months of occasional use, it failed completely. Wrote to HK who responded that because it was out of warranty, bad luck. Great sound, but not worth the money given it’s very short life span.

Excellent sounding bluetooth portable speaker & Conference phone .
Solidly designed unit, quite substantial in size but it's worth it, the sound produced is the best I've managed to hear out of any bluetooth portable speaker yet. It handles the base and handles the high's without distortion, seamlessly connected to my various devices (supports up to three devices connected to it at once), excellent bluetooth range before disconnecting, great speaker phone - apparently I'm easily heard and clear to those on other end of line.. And best of all, you can turn it up loud!
8 hours playtime with internal rechargea...
