So far, just what I need – I wanted a smaller kettle and this is easier to lift with my arthritis. The plasticky taste of the water only lasted 3 or 4 boils. Water level is easy to see and boiling takes about 2 to 2.5 minutes. The outside of kettle does get VERY hot during use, but for a sensible adult that's OK.
