Helinox Savanna Chair

Amazingly light and surprisingly comfortable – After getting a little frustrated at lugging my comfortable, but heavy and bulky, camp chair to picnics and gatherings, I decided I needed to invest in something that made the process of taking all my stuff (chair, food, picnic rug, etc) in one go, much, much easier. After alot of searching, and reading some online reviews, I decided on the Helinox brand. I was still undecided on which chair exactly, but then determined that based on my preference for a higher base hight (eg, 'standard' chair height), as well as a high back, for added comfort when kicking back near the camp fire on cool evenings, the Savanna chair best suited my needs.

I assembled it the moment it arrived, and took less than 2 minutes. Putting it back in the bag, with the Vibram feet ball set attached (which I purchased along with the chair), took a little longer than intended, but it still fit in the bag.

It's now in the back of the car, ready for the next picnic or get together - and I'm happy in the the knowledge that the chair is already packed, and not something else I need to remember to load in the car.

I'm looking forward to getting alot of use out of this chair!
