Temperamental and expensive repair – Less than 4 years old, the right hand side circuit (2 burners) fused and this part was almost $1,000. Wiring underneath very compressed, burnt out and blew a hole in metal plate, which could have caused a fire. Only 2 years warranty is given. The Service technician commented that this fault is common.
Purchased in for $3,890.
Not sufficiently durable - replaced with gas cooktop – This 6 burner induction promises a lot but does not deliver. It is temperamental, switching itself off and on randomly. Error messages are frequent. The glass top is very flimsy and easily scratched and cracked. I am on my 3rd top @$600 a time. Drop anything on the top and it cracks. Not suitable for cooking with big pans and typical usage for a home cook. Looks nice though, if that's important to you. Susceptible to cockroaches entering the electronics and shorting out the elements/controllers - I had to replace part of the unit for $1200. After three years of use with replacement parts costing more than the original sale price, I have had enough and gone back to a stainless steel gas hob. Don't waste your money on this.
