We bought this fridge four years ago. It has a problem that the drip tray overfills and we have to empty of monthly. Also the thermostat is really dodgy and our has pretty much failed. Of course these items are provided with very short warranties - because basically they are trash. As a consumer paying out $599.00 for a really important kitchen appliance that is clearly designed to fail just isn't worth it. Please do not buy these products - HiSense products should be titled NoSense!

Follow-up  · So I contacted Hi Sense and got the well you have run out of warranty but we will give you 20% off a new fridge - ye Im really going to do that given this fridge was only four years old. Anyway I worked out thanks to AI that it was the thermostat - went onto Bay - bought one for forty bucks - took out the old and stuck in the new - took a couple of minutes and yep we have a regulated fridge.

Bought a pigeon pair fridge/freezer. Freezer is ok but fridge is terrible. Will either run 12 degrees or freezing. No good for beer fridge. Have persisted for 2 years with this heap of junk and resorted to transferring a few cans each day to a proper fridge. DO NOT BUY THIS FRIDGE!!!!!!!

Widely varying temperatures. Unsuitable for perishables – The ideal fridge temperature is 2-4 degrees C. and Hisense recommend a setting of 3-4 of 7 max. Tested multiple times at that setting with 3 different thermometers the temperature of items in it varied from 3 to 21 degrees. At a setting of 6 temperatures varied from 1 to 15 degrees. This fridge is completely unsuitable for keeping perishable food.
