Good TV – This is my first Smart TV, (I'm an oldie and the previous dumb one failed). Setting up was no real problem and the new Hisense does all of the versatile things I expected of this well priced Smart TV. Sound and picture quality are quite acceptable and altho' I still have a bit to learn, overall I am quite satisfied with it. LL Show details · 1
A good simple tv – There is nothing fancy about this tv, but nothing wrong with it either. It has all the apps you want (netflix, stan, ivew etc) and gives an ok picture. We had one small problem with one of the apps disappearing, but the customer support people were great and talked me through fixing it over the phone. I'm happy. Show details
Very poor service from Hisense – Absolutely disgraceful service from Hisense. Xmas present worked well, however water from an air con damaged unit. Took it to authorised service agent on 2nd Feb and after wrong parts delivered, a further month waiting for parts that didn't arrive then advised another 6-8 weeks for parts. I give up, TV heading for bin and lesson learned. Never again Hisense. No intention to claim warranty, was intending to pay for full repair. Show details
Great – Good for bedroom and kids bedroom. Very happy with this product. Sound good for the sports and great for Netflix or Stan. Xbox was ok. Quality of the picture was great. Has enough ports for Xbox and DVD player. Does take time to download apps sometimes rather than this it’s a great tv. Well recommended for kids bedroom or just a Xbox or PlayStation tv Show details
goes from off to netflix/youtube with one click – The picture quality is satisfactory and will not disappoint for sport. The sound from the unit is above average, though at this price-point some speakers should be also purchased. I have mine as-is and am not deafened by the commercials so thats a plus. Some time in menu-land pays off here, as there are heaps of settings. The HDMI ports are… Read more
becoming obsolete with TVs so I employ just the one for an xbox, it works for me not against me. The remote control buttons perhaps could be of a higher plastic quality (instead of rubbery) indeed, but the one-button Youtube and the one-button Netflix secured my purchase.
Do not buy!!!! – Do not buy!!!! The screen fades into black every 5 minutes to the point where I have to turn the tv off and back on. It drives me crazy. The only thing I like about this tv is it’s sound system. I loved the Samsung I had. I thought I should try this out but it is poor quality. Show details
Absolutely fantastic HD quality – Wow, what an amazing TV. This was my first ever HD TV purchase and what a difference it has made. The picture quality is fantastic. Seamless set up...took about 5 minutes to be honest. The built in speakers are great and has all the ports you would need. I love how the controls have a netflix button and youtube button so VERY QUICK! If you're after a great quality TV for a very reasonable price then no need to look any further :) Show details
The size is prefect – I want to buy a TV in my room a long time ago, but I don’t want to spend too much money on it and i think the price for this one is resonable The quality of the screen is also good And the exterior appertaining is also okay for me Show details
Great value for the money, and a 3 year warranty thrown in – It works well, it does the same as another brand that cost about twice the price and, I as I have both, in different rooms, I can say there isn't much difference to me. It gets Netflix and YouTube with no problems. Setting up was quite easy and fast. With the 3 year in home warranty included, I am covered until Feb 2021. I will probably need a new, more up to date, one before then anyway. Show details
Great value – Great hd picture on standard tv shows (nine, seven, 10). Speakers could be a bit better but for the price, I'm sure you could buy a soundbar with the tv and still save money. Easy to use, easy to move (well the 32) anyway and very happy with it so far! Show details
Hisence Makes Sense – Despite having recent problems with a smart TV (see my review on the TCL Smart TV), I bit the bullet and purchased a Hisense 32N4 32” Smart TV from Harvey Norman Fyshwick on 21st January, 2018. The Quick Setup Guide made the basic installation easy but the lack of a User Manual with the TV was very disappointing. After some searching on the… Read more
internet I did manage to find and download a User Manual but unfortunately the manual left a lot to be desired especially in respect of the “Timeshift” and “PVR” functions.
I was eventually able to get these features to work (something that I could not do with the TCL Smart TV) but must note that the PVR function is very limited. If you use the PVR feature you can watch the channel being recorded but do not have access to any other channels or features.
The picture quality and sound are good but the volume level on Netflix is very low. To be fair this might just be a problem with the Netflix Application.
It my opinion it is a good basic second TV.
Perfect for my child's room – Bought this for my son's bedroom. He is 5 and enjoys watching cartoons on this. Easy to use the remote. Perfect picture and sound quality. Comes with 4 year warranty. Reasonably priced. I am thinking of buying a 55 inch one for my lounge as well. I think Hisense would be a market leader in no time. Totally satisfied. Show details
Hi-affordability – The world of TV'S does one make the plunge into trying a new brand when they have stuck to the traditional brands who are no longer performing or the prices are not sitting right at this time - this was the question that struck me while TV shopping earlier in the year. I decided to make the choice to give Hisense a shot - which has paid off so… Read more
far.
Hisense does not have the final crisp product feeling of a samsung or LG however for the price you get these televisions at this is understandable - it does however have all the bells and whistles.
Expect however all these bells and whistles to not be perfect and at times you may run into delays and frustrations but once again Hisense i believe will only continue to improve in the market.
Definitely a good model for the price and a good consideration for a TV choice.

Not happy – As soon as warranty period is finished tv broke itself. Won't purchase another of this brand and will not recommend to family friends or anyone else I know to purchase one, very true about cheap and nasty, but I still would have liked it to last longer than a warranty period, disposable rubbish. Glorious television – Really nice TV for the small to medium room, or if you are sitting not miles away in a big lounge room. The colours are great and it is easy to set up. It's a "smart" TV but does not come with ABC iView standard which was distressing, but when you go to any ABC station on live to air, Smartview comes up as an option, so just a bit more complex.… Read more
Great price - Bing Lee had it for $399. Good Guys Northlands refused to match the price, but I have stopped shopping there - the service has gone to hell. Harvey Norman offered it with a dozen bottles of wine for $428 which is great if you want to watch TV and get sloshed.
