and water dispenser - specifically non-plumbed, as I had read getting your fridge plumbed to mains water can introduce a lot of risk of both flooding and breakdowns.

I’ve had the fridge over a year now and it’s just awesome.

One time the water/ice dispenser stopped working. You pressed your glass/cup to the paddle and nothing would happen. No whirring, no sound, no response at all. Like the electro-switch that detects when the paddle is pushed had broken. I’m a handy guy, so i turned off the fridge at the power point and removed the dispenser. I got to the little switch and tested its output with my multimeter, and bizarrely there was nothing wrong with it. Puzzled, i refitted the switch and paddle and turned the fridge back on at the power point. I pressed the paddle with my fingers and lo and behold it was working again. I have a feeling, seeing as this fridge has WiFi etc, that what had actually happened was the software glitched out in the fridge and like a computer or phone that is malfunctioning it needed to be rebooted / just turned off and on again.

It hasn’t happened since, if if happened again, Hopefully that fixes it once more.

Awesome fridge though!

Again waiting for Hisense to come and change the part. First repair took 1 month to be attended, now I am still waiting for two weeks for second repair and still no response from Hisense.

Their customer service is terrible.

It is absolutely garbage product, very very low quality fridge, DO NOT BUY, just because it is cheaper, You will regret it

This fridge works reasonably well however the icemaker stopped working after a year and still has not been repaired even under warranty. they have not received the part yet from Hisense. I have attempted to contact Hisense via phone (I have been on hold for over an hour) and via live chat (no response). If you are looking for a fridge with an icemaker I would consider another brand that is more reliable.

warranty, doesn't respond while asking for a report of what is diagnosed and what needs to be fixed. The 3 year warranty never works for customers. Never recommend to buy any hisense products as you will never get anything fixed under warranty .

Do not buy! This fridge at first glance looks great! Then you encounter the issues. Like most Hisense products, they’re cheap and unreliable. The first issues were the ice maker. causing condensation.

The seal on the new door didn’t work so they had to remove the seal from the old door and put on to the new one for it close. It was slightly warped and they had a fair bit of trouble fitting the door.

Now, let’s get on to the aftercare. This is by FAR the best part of it all. CRT - the resolution team. I have had someone of the most ridiculous emails from these uneducated people in which you will be made out to be the issue.

Initially. We purchased everything Hisense due to the service being amazing from a faulty washing machine. I purchased several TVs, Fridge Freezer, Dishwasher, Dryer you name it. But one by one most of the items showed faults within the first 6 months or so.

You will be told the ‘white goods team’ can’t find a fault from a video you send, honestly. They have no clue.

Be careful who they send out too, we had one particular person who would outright lie so they weren’t liable.

The email I received yesterday states

“ I have reviewed your file history on issues with all your Hisense models under *** and have escalated for further investigation including the issue you are having with model HRSBS632BW“

I stated I didn’t like the tone of this and what our other issues like what we had with our dishwasher have to do with this fridge

The response

“As per my response we are looking into the issue.

File is under review and will get back you once we have a response from management.”

I have escalated this externally to OFT and legal as this is beyond silly from this customer service rep who needs some retraining one can safely say.

So this warning will now be put out on EVERY major platform. Do not buy a Hisense product ever. A few google reviews on their class actions speak volumes.

Best Family Fridge – We purchased this fridge a few weeks ago, upgrading from our old one. So far this fridge can hold so much food for our family of 4 plus more. What I really love is that you don't need plumbing with the self refill water tank that holds 4.5 litres is amazing and holds/makes heaps of ice as well.
