Hisense Heat Pump Combo Series 8i HCF8I1215HB

Worst purchase I've ever made. It takes 7-10 hours to dry a load. The stickers they put on it leave a residue that won't come off and using cleaning products meant for taking off sticky residue just takes the finish off the machine. As the saying goes - pay peanuts, get monkeys.

Bought this washer-dryer combo for my apartment a couple of weeks ago from The Good Guys (only two models have a heatpump as washer/dryer combo). It started throwing an F187 (Fan phase loss fault) error almost immediately, and now it won't complete a cycle at all.

Contacted Hisense support via live chat - provided the model, serial number, error codes from their own app, and confirmed I'd already done their recommended troubleshooting (power cycling, empty cycles, etc). Was told they couldn't help unless I was physically standing in front of the unit during a phone call. Tried the phone line earlier - 40+ minutes on hold, nobody picked up.

So to summarise: the unit is dead after two weeks, I've done everything they've asked, and their support process is designed to make you give up. Chat sends you to phone. Phone doesn't answer. Then they tell you to put your complaint in writing.

Will wait a few days to hear back, if not will have TGG organise a replacement. Would not recommend!
