Hisense Q6S Hi-QLED 4K Smart TV

Purchased Hisense TV 55" Q6SAU 4K Hi-QLED June 2026 to replace my 7 y/o Kogan 55"TV as I wanted all of the installed apps. I've got a smaller Hisense Smart TV that has perfect sound and picture so opted for another Hisense. After set up I noticed the picture was reasonable (not great) but the sound was tinny/scratchy and woeful. As this was going to be a long term relationship I was never going to be happy with the sound. Adjusting the settings made no difference, there was little to no bass, and apparently that's because the TV has 10W speakers "due to the thin profile". I purchased the TV online (my mistake), so a refund was not going to be achieved because the TV is not faulty, it's flawed. The TV was $774 plus delivery so $800 all up. The only option for me was to outlay a further $200 and buy a soundbar, which I did the very next day, so now the outlay was $1,000. The sound is now acceptable, but my lesson learned was that I should have simply replaced my old TV with the Kogan 55" Mini-LED QLED 4K 144Hz Smart AI Google TV for $699 and 24W speakers, saving myself the angst and $300.

Excellent TV Very easy set up My first reaction once set up was wow Excellent picture and very clear Sound is great for little TV Great quality TV Very happy with it all Totally recommend
