lasted but very limited tv – TV is now STUCK on Reboot Loop, Hisense support wasn't helpful, where they promised will send me the firmware link to re-install, (I don't like to update firmware, as from experience they never work correctly after updating, keep it as it is if it's working) but they never did, as it is out of warranty. after all, it's the most tv that lasted at… Read more

my place for 4 years and never had any other tv that lasted this long. Disadvantages: I couldn't download popular apps, limited to its Vemo (not sure if this is the correct app store name). The operating system and options are very basic and limited. Disconnect network by itself but was always able to connect it. Used to take an average long time to boot up. Casting never works, had to attach Chromecast, as this tv doesn't connect to anything. Doesn't have a reset button if things turn wrong, and that happened many times. After all, you get what you pay for.

Poor Quality Product and Poor customer service – TV is only three years old and has become faulty, every time I try to connect it to NETFLIX or HDMI it shuts down after a few seconds. I have been attempting to contact Hisense for customer service via their webpage and phone with no success, no one answers the phone and nobody replies to my inquiries online. Very, disappointed, and I am never going to buy a product from them again. My advice is don't waste your money.

$999 for 65" TV, Yes! – We bought our TV for over a year now and it works perfectly, no problems so far. We were a bit sceptical as it was $999 at Myre (normally something this big would cost double or triple the price). We would say we are very satisfied with the product - it comes with warranty, HDMI ports (as I often connect my laptop to the large screen), you can… Read more

also airplay, and it is a smart TV so there's youtube and other smart functions.

We have quite a few things connected to it such as an internet TV box (for Chinese internet TV) and wireless connection is great, it doesn't seem to lag like my old TV did. I used to own a Hisense fridge (for 5 years) and there wasn't any problems, so I'd say Hisense products are quite good. Would recommend!

Value for money – It was my first hisense purchase and I was a bit sceptical, but i can say that the tv is pretty good, easy to use and value for money. Of course it’s not the best you can find on the market but it Does the job Show details

Wonderful! – This is my first Tv I’ve ever bought. I think it’s wonderful. It’s definitely smart, I love the apps and all the settings are easily accessible! I’ve never had any problems with the volume thank god, cause I was worried as I had seen it in other reviews. I don’t like the fact you can’t download more apps... like Disney plus or the channel 9 app,… Read more ·  1

even though it does come with the regulars ie. Netflix, Stan, YouTube and amazon prime. I also found the Stan app really lags on the tv... not sure if it’s the app itself... but I put up with it. 55 inch is a perfect size! And the remote is really easy to use. Personally I cannot get my iPhone 11 Pro to “anytime cast” which is annoying as I will have to get a casting device... but I think that’s more of Apples doing. Yet my YouTube connects. Can’t complain about the screen quality cause it looks great! For the price; you can’t go wrong!

This is not bad TV – The TV I bought is refurbished. And It works well for 3 years. The only issue is the remote controler. The controler's power button is not working normal. You would have to push hard to switch it on/off. Show details

It is my first Hisense Tv, maybe this is a lemon – It is my first Hisense Tv, maybe this is a lemon, but this has numerous problems, the tv operation system has frozen a few times(need to be turned off at wall to restart), when playing movies from portable hd, movie will stop and exit to sub menu, has frozen while watching netflix. When it freezes, the on buttons that works on remote is the channel and on/off....I have had this since early july, will be contacting Hisense asap.. Show details

Great value, excellent picture and sound quality until a major panel failure :( – UPDATE August 2024: This TV was in a spare bedroom and had very minimal use, less than 200 hours. It suddenly developed a backlight issue and panel failure which could not be repaired. Hisense did offer a 20% reimbursement on a new purchase to replace the faulty TV. Considering the minimal use we would have expected this TV to last considerably… Read more

longer. We will have to reconsider buying Hisense in future, given their claims department consider 5 years a reasonable lifetime for a TV before replacement will be required should a major fault occur. This is our 2nd Hisense Smart TV in the last 12 months, and this new model does not disappoint. It has great picture and sound and was simple to set up. Hisense certainly build a nice unit for the price point, features and ease of use rivalling the other two very well known smart TV brands which I currently own. We would always consider Hisense before the more expensive brands at the same model size etc, as quite frankly the picture quality is as good, if not better than most. It comes with plenty of features and the remote and onscreen instructions are simple and easy to follow. The 3 year in home warranty is also excellent. I will definitely buy again. 10/10

The Unknown angel – I bought this (MY 2019) tv yesterday for $799-(including delivery). And got it delivered thru appliances online. I previously owned a 42" lg 3d smart TV 2013 model. This one was huge in size and good form factor(thin bezels). Took 15 minutes to set up the stand and vola... Started the tv with home WiFi and took 10 minutes to scan all the live TV… Read more

(freeview) channels. For a normal user, impressed with picture quality and smart ui. *Will explore more and update my review

Pros: Cheaper than branded ones. Samsung-ish smart ui Decent preloaded apps Sound was good Easy installation Smart remote from mobile works well

Cons: Should have power Port on both sides Remote looks simple (works well though) No custom sound equalizer

Cheers to Appliancesonline - After a day of purchase, I saw a $40 offer for the same TV. Called them and got back $40.

So the final purchase price was $759

Sounds like a good deal afterall

Great Value for this Hisense 58" TV – I am extremely happy with this 58" TV. The detail and colour after tweaking the setting are superb. I would recommend this Hisense to anyone looking for good value. Equal to any of the more expensive brands that I have viewed. Show details

Good TV except for HDMI (ARC) – 58" R5 TV (new for 2019) is a good TV, with nice picture, easy setup, reasonable sound, and good value at $899 less Ebay 20% off plus $38.80 delivery = $758. However, I was unsuccessful in hooking up a Yamaha YAS 108B soundbar using HDMI (ARC) even though both units specify HDMI (ARC). I Phoned Yamaha Customer Service and was told Hisense HDMI… Read more

(ARC) is not compatable with their soundbar. Internet reviews have heaps of articles about Hisense HDMI (ARC) not working or not compatible with other HDMI (ARC) equipped units.
