I hate my tv – I bought my Hisense to replace a ten year old Soniq because the blacks were so bad. I fully expected my new TV to outperform the Soniq. I have been constantly disappointed. The blacks are so bad it's embarrassing to have people watch my tv. There are vertical black bars that slide back and forth across the TV. The blooming is horrendous and make… Read more

dark scenes nearly unwatchable. Lately the tv has been freezing when in different apps, no buttons will work except the power button, so I have to turn it on and then off. E-arc was the biggest pain to setup and still doesn't quite work correctly. It's a shame that I can only contact Hisense to replace it (Harvey Norman won't touch an opened Hisense box) and Hisense won't respond to my concerns

Not very smart – This tv has an ok display but it's a pain as it does not support playstore. TV runs VIDAA system. Show details

Great smart television for the home theatre – The Hisense U7G smart television is affordably priced for the family home theatre experience. It is readily and easily paired for blue tooth, wi fi, and other apps. It has sufficient HDMI ports, USB ports and cable connections for pay per view, streaming, gaming etc. The factory apps are sufficient for most adaptions and easily accessed. The… Read more

remote is easy to use once familiar with it, easy enough to use in the dark. The set regularly self downloads updates.

Wouldn't buy another Hisence Product – Finally contacted Hisence and spoke to them about my Tv (U7G QLED Smart TV). I spoke to them about my problem of not being able to update my Google to Google Chrome and they stated that due to this Tv running a VIDAA system the TV will not download Chrome as Google does not recognize VIDAA. They are selling a 2021 TV with the yr 2000 technology… Read more

and you will not have any support, you cannot even download an anti virus. You are completely at risk of hacking or having your information stolen if you buy these products. As I stated earlier look elsewhere before buying your smart Tv from them they are not as smart as they should be in this day and age.

Excellent value for money. Terrific picture and decent sound – Purchased at JB Hifi for $1174 which is a decent special as 2021 stock. It has a qled panel which is perfect for my lounge room. Hisense processor is really quick and they have updated apps which includes Disney plus strangely 7plus. 9 and 10 not included. I have a fetch tv so not bothered. You could buy a Amazon fire stick or similar for a… Read more

get around. The actually picture quality , brightness and colour correction is brilliant. I have watched fast moving sports no blur. The sound for my lounge room is fine, clear and loud enough. Probably the best quality for price point. I have a sound bar but don't use it unless watching a movie or concert. You can screen mirror but can't cast. You can get google to turn on and start Netflix ect. The panel is on par with Samsung and lg qleds. This tv is 400 dollars cheaper. If you are after a full google smart tv then this isn't for you. However if you already own a Apple TV, gaming console or similar than it's not required. I like the fact they have spent on panel and sound. 3 year in home warranty very happy purchase. Would recommend

Arrived faulty but fixed soon – Opened the box and switched on, screen had a dark patch, watchable but not acceptable. Called up Hisense and the customer service was great. Took a couple of pictures and emailed them and a few days later contact was made to arrange replacement - no fuss and no questions. Took a couple of weeks to actually get swapped but it was in the middle of a… Read more

pandemic and on top of Christmas holidays. Exchange was from a local repair company and the team unpacked, installed and set up the new TV and removed the old one and packaging, great service again. As for the TV, excellent all round. Tv Sound is, well, sound from a TV. If you wanted a great sound system you don't buy a TV and vice versa. I have an Atmos sound system and the output from the TV eArc HDMI is excellent. Cannot fault picture and there's plenty of options to tinker with if you feel the need. Images are smooth and upscaling is good. Native 4k is fantastic. Apps are ok, has what you need in VIDAA (including Disney) but it's not android or Google TV.

Overall this would be 5 stars if it didn't arrive with a fault, but, sometimes 'stuff' happens and what you do about it is more important, and credit goes to Hisense for quickly fixing the problem with no fuss.

Doesn't like Apps- why buy a smart TV? – This TV was problematic as soon as we got it. Apps took ages to find and upload , the tv control was clunky and not straight forward. Fast forward option doesn't allow you to see what your fast forwarding so therefore you miss scenes or spend half the time going back to where you started from. It's been a hard tv to navigate, not straight forward… Read more

like previous Samsung. Then it started to freeze and you had to turn off at the wall. Then the apps like Stan wouldn't play , Kayo front page screen was off centre and you can't see or search anything. Then Kayo stopped working. Google option is hard work and saving a new app like SBS in demand does not save to homepage. I've rang service for help twice, once for a factory reset, second time to test something else. Third time, I'm now waiting to do a system update. There are more problems but honestly I've given up taking notes. This TV has been a waste of my time and money. I would love to say you get what you pay for but the cheap Aldi brand tv works better.
