Hisense U7KAU 100 inch TV – This Hisense monolith 100 inch TV is magnificent! From the amazing brightness, colour and contrast to the dazzling number of mini LED dimming zones. The picture quality is crisp with inky blacks, no visible blooming and the motion processing is second to none. I honestly couldn't be happier! Show details

Good TV all round but need a sound bar – Photo is DVD on my ps2 via composite which is very good on this unit. Picture quality and colour is excellent, using Apple TV you get Dolby vision and HDR, HDR10, HDR10+ and I think HLG works too but can’t confirm. I use a sound bar but the speakers are not terrible, it includes a woofer in the tv and two stereo speakers but I prefer forward… Read more

facing. Vidaa software is not as good as Apple TV and it has the option to track you if you turn it on. Don’t even connect the TV to the internet except maybe for firmware updates. The only thing I wish it had was split screen for multiple HDMI viewing at the same time.

Update: the software has been re-rated to 5 from 1. I think it’s good some apps are still missing like kodi and kick and Emby but it has twitch and Foxtel and fta streaming apps. Pretty nice and responsive

I’ve seen on reddit some people have bricked there high sense tv(not this model) trying to update firmware and support is non existent so be careful, I have updated 3 times since I had it but I’m not doing it anymore as they don’t add anything new but you just risk bricking the tv not worth it…

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON HISENSE TV's – DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON HISENSE TV's I purchased 5 x Hisense Tv's, (4 were purchased on 1 receipt - ready for our new home) as i have been impressed with other Hisense Whitegoods - OMG the BIGGEST MISTAKE l have ever made. 3 out of the 5 tv's had issues within 14 days (that is 60% of tv's are faulty- the other 2 are sitting in guest rooms so… Read more

unsure of the quality and Hisense refuse to service or check. - The TV's were installed several months after purchasing - thus impacting the Warranty

Have contacted the Senior Hisense Customer Relations person - by email with all the documents, notes on all people contacted and outcomes - the Outcome with Hisense was very UNSATISFACTORY.

Impression l got from Hisense - "So what- just because 60% of the tv's you bought don't work - l don't care!!!!!! - Just fish out more money for servicing

I am able to supply all documentation including the emails from Hisense

Missing Apps – One of the most crucial things that is not disclosed by Hisense is that the 7plus App is not available on their TVs. To some people that may not be a problem but for a deaf person it is, when you can NOT get Free to Air TV and can only use online Apps, Channel 7 is the only one that has subtitles on all it's news services, the others are not… Read more

there most of the time. When I contacted Hisense their reply was that they did not have a license agreement for 7 plus and I need to connect to something like Chromecast and I am guessing probably Firestick or whatever other methods are available for online content. So now I have spent about $1560 with delivery and I have to buy another item and subscription to get basically what should be free, I am sure this is 2023 not 1993. I am less than pleased, I would have bought a different brand if I had known this. I am seriously considering going to Consumer Affairs as this omission in advertising and at the point of sale affects who would buy this brand and I one who definitely would not have bought it.

The actual ratings of the TV itself and audio, picture etc., are not really relevant as we have only been using it a few days, MOST importantly is to warn other potential purchasers before it is too late.

Good Tv – Picture is great, sound is not too bad. Apps work well.
