First and foremost, let’s talk about the sound quality. I have spent the last four days trying to adjust the audio settings, but unfortunately, I have had no success. The sound from the speakers is subpar—far below what I would expect from a mid-range TV. In fact, I believe even cheaper models would outperform it in this regard.

As for the picture quality, while it may be vibrant, I find the standard mode to be overwhelmingly bright—almost painful to look at for extended periods. I’ve adjusted the settings multiple times, but it seems like no matter what I do, I can’t achieve a satisfactory balance.

Overall, I am genuinely disappointed with this model. If I have to spend this much time fiddling with a new TV just to get it to a decent level of performance, I can't help but feel that my money would have been better spent on another brand. Ironically, my six-year-old Hisense TV performed better than this one.

In summary, I cannot recommend the Hisense U8Q AU based on my experience. I expected much more from a brand that has previously impressed me. If you’re considering this model, you might want to look elsewhere.
