only warranty I will have on the new replacement washer will be what is left on the old washer about 3 months this is not a good out come , a very poor service from hitachi !!

Same problem three times – Three months ago I bought the Hitachi cleaner from my local Masters. After 1 hour of use the plastic water inlet housing cracked causing leakage. I took the unit to Hitachi at Seven Hills to be told there was no maufacturing problem with the unit and implying that I was causing the fault. I am not sure how you cause a hailine crack in the water inlet housing three times. I was further told to either return it to Masters for a refund or accept a replacement with no further warranty covering the very problem I was experiencing. This after only 3 months after my initial purchase. Clearly taking away my 12 month statutory warranty guaranteed by law. Not a very satisfactory outcome. At no time did Masters act other than in a professional manner. It was Hitachi itself that would not warrant their own product. Before breaking it is a great unit It breaks within a few hours of use
